Well basically they wrote you will get an "exclusive meeting" with Hyde and K.A.Z and get an autograph signing and not much more. The only thing they should have left out imho is the part "and if you win, don't be surprised if they want to talk about your DEVIL SIDE when you meet them.", because... I think this part let the imaginations of everyone run wild Icon_mrgreen .

I just wanted to say that I had a feeling it would be somewhat of a production line - "hi" autograph shake hand "next!", "hi" autograph shake hand "next!" etc...but I don't and didn't care. I am so grateful to VAMPS for choosing the video. It meant so much to me. <3

My daughter made the video for me. Last year I started to go blind, and no matter where I am at the concerts, I will never see them clearly. (hahaha-I have "blurry eyes".) ^_^ (it kind of dismayed me when someone said it would be lame if we won because not everyone has a classroom of people to use...she, my nephews and niece, their friends and our band kids all were so happy and enthusiastic about making this video...) We didn't think we had a chance. The kids were actually more hopeful than me. (kids!) LoL! When she called to tell me she won, I was screaming so loud I startled/scared the kids, and when I told them, they were so excited they started screaming too, in all our bands! (<3 the kids!)

I AM grateful - I just didn't tell hyde and kaz (and I really wanted to) because I managed to stick my feet in my mouth at the time. If they had given me more time, I KNOW I wouldn't have told them anyway. I would have stuck the other foot in there too, and my daughter's feet, and your feet, heck, everyone's feet in my mouth. Maybe I'm grateful they didn't give me time, I'm on a limited diet... hahahaha

The meet and greet was perfect (for me.) I got to see hyde up close (although he was still a little blurry, who cares!?) I shook his hand. I have his autograph. Most of all, I have that particular memory that I'll keep even if I go completely blind today, tomorrow, next year, or never. (Yay!)

I wish the best for you in the future.

Your video was really cute. It was one of my favorites.
I just have to say that even if it was only three minutes per person, it was still something. Being a Hyde fan for twelve years and Kaz fan for six, respectively, just getting to meet them face-to-face and then seeing them live so many times this year was enough for me.

They ran late in SF, so our group had to wait about thirty minutes until we could go in and meet them. Even so, we weren't pushed to move faster because of the delay. We each got the same amount of time as everyone else. The whole experience only lasted a good fifteen minutes total, but it was still an experience I will never forget.

I never expected any more or any less than what we got, and I'm extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to have shook their hands, get a personalized autograph, and them ask me where I was from. It was short, yes, but we were acknowledged (and recognized later XD).

It's true, the rules made it seem like it would be more, but I never expected it to be. I'm just really happy they at least presented this opportunity, when a lot of other bands, even America-based bands, wouldn't.

All in all, I'm okay with how it went Icon_cool

I am very happy about you getting to meet them :-) I didn't understand very well that part about eating your feet... but it is a truly touching experience and I wished -J could read about it and tell the guys because, as artists, I think that kind of special moment is specially inspiring.
I know that most of the fans who managed to see them last year with the autograph sessions [including myself] will tell you the same feelings that were expressed here by allegrofurioso . I mean, even when the session lasted for a couple of minutes [maybe seconds] for me time stopped when I saw HYDE and KAZ so close, shake hands with them and proving HOW DAMN GOOD they looked in person.

I remember that I was shaking while leaving the place, the new girls that I met in LA had to hold each other while getting out, and THEN we screamed like crazy.

And I'm glad to see that people who didn't have the chance last year made it this time...your efforts has been rewarded [ and maybe your videos will be on the DVD ^^] so I hope that you treasure this as much as fans like me did last year...before some Japanese 'fangirls' start rambling about this...again.

Well, after last year's US tour Japanese fans on forums were rambling about how unfair it was that the US fans had more than one chance to get autographs from the guys when opportunities like that were very slim in Japan.

Which, I understand, but it's also unfair to be like that with the fans who saw them last year I mean...maybe they didn't have autograph sessions...but they had like a VERY extensive tour? It was like 3 dates per city! And we had like very few for 50 states! And I'm not counting on non-US fans [in my case, Puerto Rico] who paid hotel, flight tickets and more to see them.

wasn't the VAMPS Chance thing's Golden Ticket a meet and greet type prize during this year's Zepp tour? i have seen the odd photo around of fans getting the handshake and autograph before the shows. (sorry, don't have the pics) if that is the case, the fans attending shows in Japan actually had as good as if not a better chance of winning than video contest entries, at least in one sense. they could go out and buy another single and try again or something.

hope there won't be any grousing this year. by anyone. .....well, i might grouse, but that is just me being cantankerous old biddy. ^ ^
