I just discovered, from a chinese fan, that nobody in China knew nothing about Karaoke contest so, that's why i was the only one who enter the contest who will attend Shanghai concerts...
I'm afraid they will not do the same because i think it's a bit weird that only one persone entered the contest for these venues and, because chinese fans also have their own meet&greet in Shanghai Expo, I think i will not have the chance to meet them... T.T

How can you be certain NOBODY entered the contest? maybe there are a few who are shy enough to not tell, but I'm pretty sure I've seen someone from Russia who will attend Shanghai concerts, so I wouldn't just count on what your friend told you
And there is more... as every venue has had their winners, even if you're alone there is no reason at all to leave you without your price... faith!

Man that sucks that all you got was an autograph session. The managment should have been more honest with what the prize was going to be. I woudn't have gone through all that trouble for a lousy autograph LOL

I checked almost all the videos and didn't see nobody who was going to attend Shanghai, so that's why i supposed... but if you know there's another girl so i'm relieved ^^
In China, vampsxxx.com, youtube, facebook and myspace are banned, you need an external server in order to see the webs so, maybe that's the reason because no chinese people entered the contest.

Aww, even if it's just for that short amount of time, I would kill to be in your shoes! Although I think my time would end rather quickly, since there's nothing particular special about me to be mentioned ;_; (note to self: get 5000000000 tattoos... okay, not really) - That and I don't think the poor boys could take my constant "N-N-N-NICE T-TOT MEET YOU. UH-HH UH... OH MY GOSH I'M SO NERVOUS. UH... WILL YOU COME LIVE IN MY HOUSE?" I'd have to have security carry me out.
I was the first person in line for the meet and greet in NY. The whole deal was very rushed and the guys looked very tired. When I went up to see them I shook their hands and asked how their day was. It took Hyde a minute to understand but then nodded his head and said "good", I looked over while he was signing and asked KAZ. He understood right away, he said "it's a good day". Then while KAZ was signing Hyde asked me in Japanese if my lip hurt. Someone who worked for him translated and I giggled and got really shy. I shook my head. "No, not at all!" My lip is pierced. Jay said it was time to give them my gift so I handed KAZ the card I had and shook Hyde's hand again with a big thank you, he nodded. I shook KAZ's hand again and said thank you. I walked and waited for my sister. The tears were already forming in my eyes. Those poor guys looked so tired! I wish we would have had more time with them, however I am grateful that I got to meet them. I will keep my poster forever and these memories forever. I can't wait to see them again, and if I ever meet them again I will make more of a conversation.
Oh and P.S. When I told someone about which video was mine the response was "Oh that was you? That was pretty slutty." But hey, I must have done something right. Slutty wasn't what I was going for but it won me a chance to meet one of my favorite bands. So... Whatever.
Seems like lots of experiences here! I didn't know that in China you needed an external... whatever, that you can't see the websites so easily. How did you find out about the contest, then? As other girl/guy said here, there's no need for you to be from China, if it's from Japan, Russia, Sweden, anyway, the point is that there's TONS of videos in the web. I think karaoke contest is going to happen in China. For example, in NY, there was a panel, right? and still there was meet & greet too. What are your thinkings about this?
Lucky you that you could to meet VAMPS!! it's great To have a little conversation with them, being asked for your lip piercing and have the autographs as a memory, PLUS the show indeed
