RE: impressions
I was wondering if the guy with the two long braids that was always wearing the baseball cap, I think he was at Hyde's right (our left) during the show... is that J? That guy was super nice! Just curious.

RE: impressions
Sucks to hear that some of you guys didn't have such a great time up front...cuz I was up there, and I gotta say, this show was the most fun I think I've ever had.
I guess I've been to enough packed bar shows to where the crowd didn't bother me at all...I just so thoroughly enjoyed Vamps that any of the unpleasant aspects of being in a crowd of that quantity had pretty much no negative effect on me. They were amazing! It was so surreal seeing them live[Hyde in person?! NEVER thought I'd get to experience that. And in such a small/intimate venue...AND in Vegas?! Crazy!]...I LOVED it! It was great how much Hyde seemed to like the hotel...that place is really awesome. I felt like it was the perfect location for them.
I SO hope they come back to the states soon after this tour!
Oh, and to the people who said they got grinded on[lol] uh...I physically could not stop myself from rocking out, so that may have been my crotch unintentionally invading your personal space. Sorry.

Yeah! Was that that guy?? My friend and I gave him the gifts we made for the band...I hope they received & liked em!

The guy with the long braids -> Not sure who he is but he's not J. J has short hair.
But he was pretty nice and have me a free bottle of water while waiting in line at Sonar (at least, I think that's the same guy).

The guy with the long braids was Sean. He was helping out the band.

RE: impressions
Monday was so much fun! I had a great time!!!
Did anyone remember Hyde saying something like "where's my baby?" and then "searching" the audience before they played Hunting? What a tease, lol.
The band seemed extremely gracious on stage! Hyde, KAZ, and Ju-ken seemed to have no qualms about getting close to the crowd and being touched (a privilege that i missed by mere inches!!!). Do you guys think that Hyde makes Jin let him do the black make-up around his eyes? I like to think so (I feel like I saw that in one of the documentary portions of one of the live DVDs).
That's awesome that people got to see the band around the hotel; color me envious. I did get to see Ju-ken briefly as he was walking from the room elevators to the casino area. My friend and I were walking the opposite way and when I saw him I practically stopped in my tracks and could do nothing more than awkwardly gawk at him which earned me an "...uh" type of glance. Wish I had played it off better. He was even taller than I expected.
I was about where someone else mentioned they were... a few rows back directly in front of Hyde. Crowd seemed OK where I was. I got my share of elbows to the ribs and collar bone and arms that came out of nowhere intent on taking up the space designed for my head. At times we were so packed that when the guard guy pushed the front row back I TOTALLY would have fallen if I had had room to fall.
All in all... not so bad really. A MILLION times worth it for me! I checked with the people to the front and side of me between the regular set and the encore and everyone seemed to be doing fine. A girl's hair got caught in my arm sweat while my arm was being forced (by other arms) into the air... She was cool with it though. I really had a good time!
That place was so cool! Though the smallness may have made the crowd even wilder (which I actually enjoyed), I thought that it was great that just about anywhere in the room was close to the band! The color changing cups were the coolest! Was that something that Wasted Space did?
Did the club actually fill completely up (the 300 max capacity)? Since I was near the front I couldn't tell how dense the crowd was behind me but it seemed thick. There were a good amount of people for such a small space. Did anyone else hear the male voice that screamed "ai shiteru, haido" soon after they first walked out?
That's a shame that iceybabes had someone mean next to her... I know she was really worried about that. I hope the other shows were more fun for you and I'm way jealous that your going to the Saturday show! Good luck!

Does that mean that he worked for the hotel and not the band? He was a really cool guy.
I can't wait for the DVD! I wonder when it'll come out. I see it making a great Christmas present to myself. I know that I saw crew holding up poles with cameras attached to them so I imagine that clips of our show will show up somewhere! Here I go gushing about that and the Wiltern show hasn't even happened yet.

He was definitely VAMPS staff. As someone mentioned above, he was @ Sonar as well. He was walking down the line talking to people while they had us waiting forever to get into the club. He was giving people water and telling everybody that they were trying to get the Sonar people to let us in out of the heat.
I was sitting on the ground with my back aginst the wall, resting my legs for the show, with one arm laying across my stomach (cos it makes a convenient arm rest). He stopped and asked me if I was ok.
I guess it could look like I was dying, lol. I thought that he was nice to stop and ask. I knew he remembered me from the signing cos he was selling the CDs. He was soooo nice.
Later, when he was collecting gifts for the band, I asked if he was J. He said "No, but he's another ginger, like me".

Yeah, it was so funny. One of the girls that was standing up front (the one who wrote numbers on the hands) almost touched his crotch. You could tell he was having fun and the security guards AND Hyde let them do it. He also had a ridiciously cute moment when he was explaining the gambling story to us and he pauses momentarily and goes, "Ano," realizes what he said, repeats it, and then he just busted out laughing. Or when he was asking Arimatsu how much he lost/won, and Arimatsu didn't know what he was saying obviously, so Hyde goes, "Ichi-ban?" Ari just nodded, and KAZ said, what I think was, "Thirty-five."
Oh, so the girl almost touched his crotch!? When my time comes I wish I'll
be luckier~ Yeah!!
I think he is really becoming more open with this tour. I like the naughty Haido~~
Thank you once again for the tiny adorable details. The "Ano" thing is really cute and I am very happy to know he's getting more and more used to English. And I'd love to see him busting out laughing. Kawaii.
