RE: NYC attendees?
Gaah, I'm so happy, I got tickets! <333
I'm going with my mom, so she isn't too keen on going, say, the night before to line up... but we compromised, and we're going to try to get there in the morning on the day of. ^____^ All I can think is that I get an opportunity to get as close to Hyde as possible. I want to do anything possible to take advantage of that. XD It's my first time going to a general admission concert, so I'm not used to that type of line... =/ But I'm looking forward to it.~
Last night, I even already started to have dreams about the concert! I wish July would come faster...
Also, on a random note... this is unlikely, but is anyone here going to the FAKE? concert at AnimeNext in New Jersey this June?

All I was thinking about trying to fall asleep last night was Vamps, it was bad. XDDD I need to not be on this forum before I go to sleep... or I won't be able to fall to sleep. :'D;;;
Oh, yeah, I'll be at AnimeNEXT to see FAKE? !! I can't wait~ I pre-reg-ed in December, lol. I'll definitely be there. (Still trying to book a hotel for that... I live on Long Island, too far to commute, really...)

RE: NYC attendees?
Lol, I remember when I found out about the FAKE? concert, I freaked out and made plans to get there right away. And then so soon after, the VAMPS dates were announced, so I've been so happy ever since. XD
I'm surprised though, because I haven't heard much at all yet about people going to the FAKE? concert. O___o; Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places.
But I was just thinking that it would be cool if there was anyone else going to both! 8D And we're both from LI, too. It's so weird. XD

RE: NYC attendees?
Aw man it's going to be a standing room concert? I'm going to get crushed XD For times like these, I wish I was taller ):
I remember hearing stories of people fainting at HYDE's US concert in CA....hopefully that won't happen to anyone.
Getting the tickets were a bit confusing because I didn't know the promo code for the ticket rush, but glad I figured it up ^^

RE: NYC attendees?
I'm 5'8", but at concerts, I seem to always get stuck behind people even taller then me. x____x; I can't imagine what it must be like to be shorter... Dx I'm sorry. ^^;;
*sigh* People will probably faint/pass out, I have no doubt. :| I know at Diru, I think it was, the guards were realllllly nice and passed bottles of water back, and everyone poured some into their mouth and passed it on - that was awesome. If only that happened all the time.

I'm 5'2" the answer to all our problems: PLATFORMS.
Also, am I like retarded or something? I'm trying to buy the tickets on live nation and there's no button to push that says buy or continue or anything! Do I need like a promotional code, or did I just miss the pre-sale?? This is where I'm looking

I have been to the CA ones and the Japan ones...
I would say you really have to take care of yourself.
I had no problem to squeeze in to the front for the all concerts I had attended.
Make sure you stretch before and drink enough water before you go in.
(it's difficult to carry water bottles in live house)
I am short and I'm fine~so don't worry~
make sure you know when to leave the crowd if you are not feeling well though.... :)

you need to first register with http://ticketrush.com/
and then you will see the promotion code that you need at live nation's website.

RE: NYC attendees?
Sorry for going off-topic, but I'm also trying to go see FAKE? in June ^^;;
Haven't registered for AnimeNext yet, because I'm waiting for Jhouserock(?) to start selling premium seating
Now going back to topic: ahh we can't bring in bottled water? hm..then we're gonna hafta chug a lot of it before we go in
And how do you guys wear platforms to these sorts of things?! I'm 5'4 and have flat feet, so I need sneakers @.@;

Premium seating for me has never been worth it, and I feel like...I don't know, like it's wrong. I'd rather it just be like a regular concert - you wait in line, and get in rather then having to pay another $25 to get a bit closer. I've been to the ANext concert the past 2 years, and I've always been right behind the VIP section and have seen everything just last - it was actually really calm too, no pushing. Last year towards the end, everyone eventually just pushed forward anyway, so it didn't really matter. XD And FYI - there are no seats. I mean there are, but it's on the sides, in case you don't know how it is.
ON TOPIC! Yeah, I'm pretty sure Irving Plaza will NOT allow you to bring water bottles in. >_>; Try and sneak it, but they do a bag check.
And I don't know how anyone wears platforms - I sometimes have a hard enough time standing straight with sneakers on, let alone platforms! Comfy shoes it is for me. AND HEADS UP EVERYONE - FLIPS FLOPS PROBABLY AREN'T A SMART IDEA. After shows, I see so many flip flops on the floor... you'll lose your shoe. Wear something that can tie, or zipper, or won't fall off. Just a suggestion. :)

RE: NYC attendees?
^ Really? Flip-flops? People...have worn flip-flops to concerts??
Losing a shoe is one thing..I'd be afraid someone would stomp on my toes
And I swear this is the last time I go off-topic but:
ah so the premium seat thing isn't worth it? ugh I've been waiting over nothing Thank you for the info..I've never been to AnimeNext or dealt with Jhouserock before so..now I know better XD
