Lol...no one is going to hate you!!
We all agree that pushing forward is one thing. Everyone wants a good view and there seem to be a lot of us who are short......good thing if we are the same size.
We also agree that being physically nasty to someone else should not be tolerated.
I don't expect to be in the front row at any of the shows....there is only so much space and too many people who want to be there. I'd rather be at the back/side (as long as I can see) than get mauled up front.
Just my opinion.

@ malicious: Of course not! I intend to walk away with some bruises and sore muscles, but that's to be expected at nearly any concert. If someone intentionally tries to cause me bodily harm just to get closer to the stage. Well... that's what security is for.

@ cathb: I wouldn't mind being farther back or to the side, either. I will try shooting for closeness to the stage, but not at the exspense of harming someone else. If I elbow a person in the ribcage, it will purely be by accident and I will apologize immedately.

No blood shed. There shouldn't be any violence, but it happens. I think everyone should just be happy that they actually get to have the opportunity to see the band, regardless of how close they get to the stage, and be thankful that these guys worked so hard and came all this way, but some people get hysterical and figure if they punch enough people in the kidney they might get close enough to have the band notice them.

I'm just hoping that the Vegas guys have their stuff together with security and that we can all walk away from this without too much damage, and that the memory of the night will live on through the bruises, sore muscles, and aching bones. Ten years from now, when we're watching the DVD, we'll be able to look back and say, "I was there."

Accidents happen...((but now I'm afraid because your elbows are pointy, hun. ^^;))

But I agree with everything else you said. Heck, as long as I can see and hear the band, I don't mind standing to the side.
