seems like that was mentioned sometime back. Ken also has a calendar out i've heard. i had ordered the L'Arc one at YesAsia before the VAMPS one was put up for pre-order. it's like theirs always are, poster size pages. not a desk calendar like VAMPS. and these goods will always cost us so much more due to shipping alone. some items, like magazines, are 2-3 times the price of the product just because of that. it's always stupid.
but part of the price one pays for being an overseas fan, i guess. and it doesn't always work the same for Japanese fans of western bands or other entertainment. many companies put out Japanese or Asian versions automatically. look at those retail sites we use for Japanese products and you will find they get most of the same new releases on western bands you'd find in you local shops. without the exorbitant shipping charges.

That's what I never understood, why bands can't by default at least have an international section on their website if not international merchandise distribution. I mean, surely they know that their music won't only be recognized in Japan? I dunno.
Speaking of hard-to-get merchandise, anyone else sort of annoyed that the HELLWEEN LIVE 2009 merchandise can't be bought internationally? >_>

RE: VAMPS merch online
Hey everyone!
I have a couple of questions that maybe you can answer::
I got VAMPS "Sweet Dreams" single yesterday and inside of the cd case there was this small paper that the only things that I could recognize were the words "vammpddict" and a number...and I would love to know what to do with it ^^ the same I heard about something interactive with the L'arc's Nexus 4/Shine single.
and...
I make my mission to save enough to see L'Arc in Japan in 2012, how can I buy a concert ticket if I'm not from Japan? Because I had a hard/traumatic time getting mine for the VAMPS concert in LA [a friend from Fl got for me in the end]
"...because I'll always feel you in me"

RE: VAMPS merch online
I GOTTA KICK START NOW came with a similar sheet of paper for me, except for HYDEIST (remember VAMPADDICT was not yet open at the time) and advertised VAMPS LIVE 2009. I believe it's just an advert for VAMPADDICT and, upon registration, if you enter that number, you get some kind of surprise bonus. That's how a lot of American things like this work out anyway.
As for tickets, there are special sites dedicated to buying things from Japan, including concert tickets, in other people's names. One in particular comes to mind, but I can't remember it's name. I'll have to look back and see if I can find it. Granted, you have to understand L'Arc's popularity will make it -a lot- harder to get tickets from, especially for non-Japanese fans, so don't be too distressed if some issues arise.

------------
if you are talking about the slip that had the date 2009. 10. 29. 30. 31. near the top and an ID code towards the bottom, that was for VAMPADDICT/HYDEIST members to participate in a lottery for tickets to the Hellween lives oct 29, 30, 31. this weekend in fact. and the other side is an advert about the VAMPADDICT fan club. i had a friend in Japan check my code, but it wasn't one of the winners. because they moved to a smaller venue form last year, there were limitations on the numbers of tickets available.
i've never tried for tickets, so i have no info i can share there.
