RE: -Singing for VAMPS-

i really love mission, and i think is perfect for the line.

I think it would be really cool that, at the end of the concert, instead of everyone shouting "encoure" if we could start a chorus of a song instead. It would definitely be unique, right? I don't know how well that would work though. ^^;;

Heck yes! Especially if I design street team shirts with the lyrics to "MISSION" on the back, right? Then if you're in front row, maybe the people behind you will be able to see it? *hint, hint*

I love Mission, i actually had a friend design a shirt with the lyrics for mission on the back for me over cafepress. I think the front said "Where music will guide us- Guitar's instead of guns." I love those lyrics ^^

RE: -Singing for VAMPS-
to sum up, there's opportunity for several songs. line song->Trouble would go well. it's english, easy to learn. Mission would work well inside or out, but one of the new songs might be an even better fit for the end. the single is released in May, album in early June. there would be time to make a decision, i think. and certainly a small handful can start an avalanche of song. especially since we might be spread out a bit. overall, it's a wonderful idea, and i think the band will be pleased.
as a general idea, it would be good if everyone brushed up a bit on the songs that are likely to be performed again. we know that most, if not all, of the new material will be covered. and we have evidence on the various live dvds of the other Hyde songs likely to be inserted to round out the setlists. familiarity will allow for spontaneously jumping in when Hyde invites participation and show our willingness and excitement to have them here. i know, we all know this. if we haven't actually BEEN to a show, we've at least seen footage. but a little prep work never hurts. ^^
maybe one of us could post the romaji/english lyrics of the new stuff once we get our copies. especially since some may wait to buy at the shows, or just be strapped for extra cash due to travel expense. a small something to think on for the future. :D

And sorry if this has been asked & answered, but what did the crowd do back in 2006? Did fans try to do something like this then too? If so, was it successful? I'm kinda worried that we'll get super excited, but when the time comes, only a handful of people will actually sing
:-) Actually it's been discussed before, (about a song for the line and a song for the pre-encore) most posters agreed that we should wait until the CD comes out.
About your worries... Cheer up! It doesn't matter if only a handful of us sing, I think that only 10 of us can start a massive chorus given the right disposition, and VAMPS will provide the mood :-D It is only a matter of organizing and putting our hearts on it, we will find a way for sure! n_n
Helllls yeah~~~ and for 2006, nothing happened so lets make it happen this time!!

RE: -Singing for VAMPS-
I love MISSON - I think it's a great song with a great message and one of my favorite HYDE songs, but I have two problems with singing it. First, the chorus doesn't repeat so we'd have to sing it, stop, and start it again - it doesn't just keep going around and around. And second... it's kind high-pitched and screamy in the song, and I'm just afraid it's going to sound dumb when we sing it. I know I sound dumb when I sing it in the car because I can't sing that high at all, hehe :D
Maybe the new single will be perfect for this! We've got plenty of time to plan this stuff :)

I don't think so, because they will release a 13+ tracks album a month before so most of the songs will be from there and the other could be side b songs from the singles, so just one or two songs will be from their previous works.

I disagree with that, when I saw Hyde and Kaz perform three years ago in San Francisco there were quite a few songs from the previous albums rather than just from Faith. I think it will be a decent mix of their more popular previous songs and the newer ones. They want their audience to be able to sing along after all.
