Yeah, you just get the 500 yen coupon. But you don't have to pay the service fees which helps a bit. I figure as long as I get it one way or the other, than I will be a happy camper.

this news is really a bit of a pisser. one waits hoping that will be the case, even though the original seller was only delivering in Japan, not overseas, then as soon as one goes thru the hassle and orders--pow! it's really more trouble to cancel than it may be worth, for me ar least.

no matter who you order from, the biggest killer could end up being shipping, all of that material makes for a heavy package. this happened once before a few years ago on some bit of L'Arc merchandise. we live and learn, yet still get surprised.

Yeah, it is the shipping that kills you...especially when you use EMS so you know it is secure. Most of this should be fairly light, except for the book, so hopefully it will not be too bad.
The same thing happened to me with L'Arc merchandise also. In my mind I had stolen the stuff for the price I paid and then it cost me $150 to ship it here.....cough, cough.

I decided a looonnggg time ago to not even think about the amount of money I spend on L'Arc~en~Ciel - that way lies madness.

hahaha, truer words never spoken, as they say. there's always some little thing waiting, that you missed the 1st time around, wasn't available in your location etc. it's way too hard to try and follow multiple bands to this extent too. just have to choose a primary focus and go with it. ^^

I looked at the CDJapan prices for me and its gonna cost me $235 Australian dollars to get it shipped EMS...the other option is SAL for $180. shipping alone costs Y7600. though to complete my collection XDDDDD im just deciding on what shipping method would be better...though im leaning towards EMS cause of the security you get with it

Holy cow yeah when I put the SWEET DREAMS single (which comes out the next day) and the MV13 in my cart, it says I can only use EMS due to bulk/weight restrictions. Which is 7600 yen.

If I take the CD out of my cart, it lets me choose SAL for MV#13... I could have them both shipped separately with SAL and save like $35, and then I don't have to go to the post office to pick it up like I do with EMS stuff... hmm. I'm torn.

I live in California and just ordered MV #13. At the check out time, the only shipping choice it gave me was EMS.

I ordered MV#13 through 3rd party also. I almost cried when I got the CDJapan e-mail saying they had MV#13 to order. But the VAMPY gods are smiling on me. I saved one dollar. Guess I'll spend that on the SWEET DREAMS single.
