RE: NYC attendees?

I'm from here, so I have no concept of what is / is not safe regarding the subway... I feel perfectly fine taking it any time of the day or night ...

If you are worried about that inn (re safety of your stuff) you might want to try the W hotel in Union Square, that is really close to the venue as well (about three blocks or so I think from Irving Plaza)

RE: NYC attendees?

I love how so many people are afraid of taking the subway at night. >.> I'm a native New Jerseyan, so logically speaking, I should be like everyone else, but I'm with Julnyes... I feel completely at ease taking the NYC subway at any time of the day or night, alone or with others, whatever. I hate how the Boston subway STOPS running at 1 AM. XD

Thanks a lot everyone :)
I have looked at W Hotel and I really want to stay there except it's pretty expensive.
(there may be a chance that hyde stays there as well~)

sorry for all the questions....this will be my first time to the east coast...

^ Try this site to compare prices:
http://www.farecompare.com/
And I think someone already said this, but you'll probably find a lot of deals these days. But since it's around summer vacation, maybe it'll be harder to find? And if your airport has JetBlue or Southwest, buy from them directly! I think AirTran is cheap+good quality too..

Ack I really need to stop pretending I know crap

No seats, general admission. :)

If you've seen the MUCC DVD from their latest album, that's at Irving Plaza.
I'm also trying to find pictures from when I was there last February, but I have too many photos... the closest thing I found is this video, which isn't mine, but is from Irving Plaza: http://s217.photobucket.com/albums/cc14/...G21808.flv
Just if anyone wanted to get a slight idea of the stage/area. ...and I'm sorry if watching anything with Tokio Hotel offends you, but I did see them at Irving Plaza February 2008. |D

And this is the back door where you can wait for bands to come out:
