VAMPS up on USA iTunes
I hope everybody already subscribes to the Myspace blog & know this already but just in case......
IT'S UP!
I actually had to register for iTunes.....but I had a $15 gift card for it laying around since last Christmas, so it came in handy! I got VAMPS and still have $3.01 to spare! Cheap!
Oh wait! Now I can go buy Life On Mars & Trouble!
Edit: BTW there's NO promotion for it whatsoever. I could only find it by searching. I couldn't even find it under "recently added" and that was still listing albums from over a week ago!
If you enjoy acoustic music, check out Hirakawachi 1-chome / 平川地一丁目

As my post might indicate, I'm not a big fan of iTunes either, but hey.....it was free money.
I also want the physical CD too, but since my plan is to try to buy a copy @ the show, it's nice to have/know the songs ahead of time....plus VAMPS gets my money twice & I only have to pay once. Also, @ $1 a song/$11.99, that's a helluva lot cheaper than $30 or whatever from some import site. In these tough economic times, that makes a big difference.
Maybe people will think twice before downloading it off the internets illegally (though I probably would've if it weren't for this, so I'd know the songs before the show....but still buy the CD).
Moar moneyz for teh VAMPS! Moar moneyz = moar hamburgers!

Heck to the yes. If my CD hasn't arrived by the time I get home, I'll definitely be on iTunes. ;)

Yeah, i will also buy the CD at the show, because shipping rates for South America are ridiculous and i want to know the songs before the show...but there's no functional iTunes in my country, so the temptation of illegal download is huge. In the meanwhile, i'm hitting youtube like whoa
i'll bring the good wine from Chile anyway, lol

i'm not a big fan of the ITunes store because it is hard to find any J-Rock, not just VAMPS. but i have gotten a number of things from them, including VAMPS' 1st single last year. and there is an option, like in a lot of online music purchase sites, for getting email updates about new releases for artists you choose. apparently i took advantage of that at some point because i got 2 notifications from ITunes this morning that the album was up. it's an easier way to get info from them than fighting through all the genre lists to find which rock list MONORAL, as an example, is listed under.
i also subscribe to some of the japanese language podcasts. some of them are really good.

RE: VAMPS up on USA iTunes
I use iTunes a lot and have noticed that the amount of Jrock available in there has definitely increased. They do have an option that I use, to get updates for specific bands. So I signed up for VAMPS updates and today I got an email about the new CD. Mine (that I ordered from cdjapan) is waiting at the post office and I will pick it up tomorrow so I can BLAST IT at home! woohoooo!! lol!

It looks great! ^_^

i was under the impression when i preordered mine way back that the poster was an extra for 1st press. and i got the same CDJpn package btw. ^ ^ thing is, i've seen an ad on lj (larcenciel and hydeist communities) for 2 regular version/not 1st pres cd/dvd version but black cover cd's on sale, never opened, with that same poster to go with. ???? i don't get it, nor why someone would buy them and turn around and sell them anyway.
