RE: VAMPS LIVE 2012
even though this is the same show shown on Ustream, i think in Dec, the parts i saw looked good, so i support having a dvd of that show. and a documentary disc!![ltd ed]
it's sorta like the thing with L'Arc releasing their final show on dvd/blueray too. was also shown on tv, but it is harder for overseas fans to see those shows and they are usually not the full show. i like the blueray option now available while still giving us slowpokes/wallet-strapped fans the option of the regular dvds too.
i got an email from HMV, they have it up now too. it's on sale atm for members.

Jacket C [Regular Edition]: http://www.hmv.co.jp/en/artist_VAMPS_000...on_5343484
[First Purchasers Limited Novelty] Special Poster Design B (Folded for shipment)
i'm not keen on the folded poster idea though, but it is another option.

Folded poster!! Why!!! Just roll it!!
One thing I like about CDJapan is any poster that was included was rolled, never folded.

I wish they would let us know what the poster is going to look like. That's honestly the only reason I would buy this DVD.
Not that this show wasn't awesome, but it was far too short for the price. Also, there was a second encore, if I recall correctly, that wasn't recorded. I know it was a little thank you to everyone who came out to see them, which is nice, but having that would make a really good purchasing point.
Still, I guess it's a good show to start their Universal collab with, and I would like to see this concert in HD.

Yeah, the concert is pretty short. However, there is the version that has two DVDs, so I'm sure it'll have some sort of documentary footage. I actually feel like the DVDs L'Arc are releasing are much more of a ripoff than this VAMPS DVD. Not only are the DVD sets over $100, but the content is not worth the price at all.
The set boasts 2 DVDs + 2 CDs, yet the "second DVD" only has like 7 performances on it. The CDs are a joke too. One of the two CDs is the "World's Best Selection" CD, which many of us already bought because they had already released it. And the second CD only has 3 live tracks. THREE! Are you kidding me? And then the tracklisting for the DVD could have been better too, as the tracks are almost the same as all their other live DVDs. They could have included their performance of "forbidden lover," which was EPIC or the rare "garasudama." .____.

Those would have been very nice to have....sigh. I would love to see a recent performance of garasudama.
They do know how to separate us from our money.
Since VAMPS is planning the big tour, I guess we won't be seeing L'Arc this year at all. So maybe next year until we see anything from them. Unless they do soak us with a box set.
But, yeah, I totally agree on the World's Best Selection CD. I do know that they went out of print and there were people paying outrageous prices for it on auctions. But still.......

Yeah, it's so sad. I was DYING to see the "garasudama" performance on DVD, especially since they keep deleting it off YouTube. I would have paid the $100 for that performance alone.
As for VAMPS, some fans reported that it was announced at the "VAMPADDICT-WINTER 2013-" event that VAMPS' world tour will be next year. Given the fact that VAMPS also mentioned that they will be releasing stuff in a few months(possibly) and with the Japan leg of the tour kicking off this autumn, I don't know when we'll see L'Arc. I just hope that if/when L'Arc kicks off their world tour, it'll be a true world tour with more than one date in the United States. .___.

RE: VAMPS LIVE 2012
Gaaawd, I have been absolutely addicted to "Garasu Dama" for the past three or four months lately. Not that I didn't love the song before, but it's been especially appealing lately for reasons I can't possible begin to explain. I'd kill to be there for a performance of that song.
If, indeed, the world tour was announced for "Winter 2013" then that means L'Arc may still have time to plan a world tour before the VAMPS tour. Buuuuuuuuut, the way things are going, I don't see a world tour from L'Arc as very likely this year.
