RE: Recent strange messages...
Wow, I really don't know how I missed this thread yesterday when I myself was freaking out over this message, haha. xD;;; ReplicantShadow also got a message from him and I was talking to her about it, and I even replied back to him that it was weird to ask for someone's address like that, but after he sent me the image files and press released... I just gave him my address. Like Tokio said, if he's in California he'd have a long way to go to get to me, so... I'm not going to be too worried.
If he's contacting all of us though, it does seem legit. :/ Some confirmation from J would be nice though.

I can't believe I just read this xD
I was freaking out over that message too!! Lucky you guys living in the East Coast, I live in California and as H.P. says, I just can't afford to take the risk. So guys, please tell us if you receive anything, I would totally love to get the postcard and poster :P
Hopefully J will tell us something on this matter soon, because right now... I'm really tempted to give this guy my address xD and I also think it seems legit >.<

RE: Recent strange messages...
mmm... I want those things!!! but I think H.P. is right, we should wait until J responds the messages and tell us if it's safe to give him our adress.
unfortunately we live in a crazy world and it's not safe to give our adress by internet to a stranger.
so H.P. please let us know if J gets in contact with you n_n

I hope J-san says something about whether or not "toshinyan" is legit, but he's prob still pretty busy...he did send me a reply a couple days ago (about something else tho) so it's not like he doesn't have internet access while they're on tour.
If that guy's for real, then I'd love to get VAMPS stuff in the mail^^

RE: Recent strange messages...
Well, i seriously doubt they will go to your house if you give your address...the really risky thing about giving addresses, is that it could be part of your credit card information. So, if the place you're staying at is also your "billing address", try to use a PO box instead or try not to give both your address and your complete name...anyway, it's relatively easy to get that kind of data elsewhere, so i don't know if that those precautions are useful ^^'
That Neu Bauhaus company seems to be real, the only suspicious thing about that Toshi guy is that he gives a hotmail and not an e-mail addy like xxx@neubauhaus.net. I did give him a reply, without giving him specific data, just stating the fact i'm not form North America, so i couldn't help him with the promotion...he seemed nice enough and maybe he is for real, so let's wait for J's answer.

Ha ha ha...I'd love a postcard too. But like I said, I think it's best if we wait. I'm sorry, but I have three very young siblings that I live with, so I wouldn't want to put them in danger. I live in CA, so I can't afford to take that risk. Unfortunately, ours is a world where we can't really trust people very easily, so forgive me if I come off sounding like a worry-wart.
I also live in CA and I didn't even read the message. I got two of them and they are both hanging there. Too much damage can be done to computers and I was afraid to even open them. So I may be a worse worry-wart than you. I'll be waiting for the information also.

YES! that was one of the first things I noticed and also the company address is a .net and not a .com however if you go to http://www.neubauhaus.com/ it looks to be some German website? So maybe that is why they registered a .net instead of the .com but still that just seems a little weird to me and the fact that their website doesn't have a professional feel to it at least not to me.
I don't like the way you have to scroll all the way across the page to see all of the info. I even tried looking at the page in both IE and Firefox just to make sure it wasn't a problem with one of the browsers. The whole thing just feels like it was was sorta rushed to me. Creating just a huge image with all of the info instead of putting time and effort into actually designing a more readable, better looking website.
EDIT:
And also just because his IP shows up in CA doesn't mean he is physically in CA that just means his ISP is in CA or either he is using a proxy server to spoof his address. Sometimes my IP address shows up as West Virgina because my ISP is based out of West Virgina and by using a proxy server I can have my IP address to show as being from Japan or anywhere else in the world I want very easily. I have even had some websites detect my IP as being from Texas without even spoofing it so the IP location isn't always a sure thing.
Maybe we are just looking too much into all of this but you can never be too sure these days. I gave him my PO Box address I don't think I would have given him my physical address if I hadn't had a PO. Even though, if he was a murderer I don't think even a murderer would step foot in eastern Kentucky lol
EDIT2:
I just pinged their website and got the IP address of 211.13.204.3 after I ran a whois on that IP I got the following data:
