My sister and I are going, so it shouldn't be a problem if one of us run off to do or get something sometime during the wait in line, right? One of us will always be there. xD We did that while waiting in line at the Wiltern and that didn't seem to pose as a problem. If both of us had to go together for some reason, our dad held our spots and nobody seemed to complain about that. Hope that'll be acceptable at this show too. O_O
That's usually what I do. It's like this...
As long as you aren't taking advantage of people wanting to just have a good time then you're cool. Last year at Dir en grey the girls in front of me got there ten minutes before me and stayed in line for maybe an hour or two at the most then they went to their hotel to sleep then never did they come back until we where entering the House of Blues. They got screwed over and ended up way in the back because they came back too late not to mention everyone at the front of the line got cut by about 30 people... BUT WHAT DID THEY EXPECT? They were going to "claim" their spot for 2 minutes and then come back a whole day later and get back in front of me.
And I HATE when people have groups of 10+ people who just casually show up at the last minute because they didn't want to sit in a boring line all day.
Last year when I had friends with me at a few concerts while in line we would take turns walking around. I don't think the people behind us paid any mind as long as someone was always holding the spot.
I think the point is just not to take advantage and you'll be okay. It's all about common curtesy.
