RE: Baltimore/Sonar fan unity and behavior.
God, this is sounding scarier than it needs to be =x - Though the thing about New York is that it's a rough city as it is and, from certain accounts of other people whose credibility is undetermined, in some areas, people are used to using force to get what they want/need. Baltimore is not nearly as populated as New York, from what I know; do correct me if I'm mistaken, so I don't think we'll have all the same problems in New York aside from some bad eggs that you're bound to come across regardless of where you are. Still, better safe than sorry.

RE: Baltimore/Sonar fan unity and behavior.
I think it will be okay. J, Ai, and Sonar have been alerted that there was violence in NY so things may be better this time if they beef up the security. Also, people will get to meet the band before the show, that may help some people calm down about being in front.
If anyone if being unruly, report them to staff. Other than that, I think we should just treat it like any other concert. Line up and hold your spot, get in, and rock out without killing others.
I'm still curious about how the autographee vs non-autographee line is going to work. Not everyone will care about getting an autograph, but they don't want to lose their spot just because they're not doing it. Likewise, fans who are getting autographs don't want to lose their spot.
I think that's going to be one of the biggest problems.

I'm curious about that as well~ I'm very glad that this post was made because I want VAMPS to know that American fans are respectable too.
I just hope that everyone in the autograph line does get a fair chance at getting a good spot for the concert line. I want my cake and eat it too if I have to wait really early to see them. However~ I can't express enough at how grateful VAMPS is doing this in the first place. It makes me very happy!

RE: Baltimore/Sonar fan unity and behavior.
This might not be such a hassle if VAMPS would, first of all, do autographs AFTER the show as opposed to before and, furthermore, not restrict people so much on who gets an autograph and who doesn't. I mean, it's sort of unfair that only people who have a PURCHASED ticket with proof of purchase can get an autograph. I mean, imagine your luck of winning your VAMPS Baltimore tickets in a contest only to find out you can't get your merchandise autographed even though your tickets were legitimate and followed all the guidelines.
I'm just saying =x - It's sort of bothersome how restrictive they are about this.

RE: Baltimore/Sonar fan unity and behavior.
I'm hoping someone will save me and my daughters' place in line. Please, whichever of you I'm standing by when I first get there.
I'm not going to be in line for long periods of time. My daughters and I are going down the line and getting the thankyou card signed, and handing out the glowsticks! I'm bringing the banner and sharpies, but handing it off to Haidoist as soon as I get there. She'll be fine, cuz she can stand in one place with our banner(kinda has too!*lol*~it's huge!) But I feel bad now that I'm worried about my spot, and torn between my promised volunteer work and my own quest to attend the meet and greet, etc. I know I shouldn't be so concerned, it should be fine, but I am getting a little worried that some idiots says we're cutting, and picks a fight, all the while holding their free glowsticks.
How did they do it in NYC with the fan book, ty card... i wonder?

I totally agree with you!
Kito...you just joined on here...right?
OMG... read back on all the confusion in the 30 something pages of the roll call thread. Bothersome is a trend! It has been a nightmare thusfar, with all the changes, misinformation, lack of clarity, for us fans to figure out what, why, when, where, and how! Excitements then dissapointments, then excited again, then dissapointed again. I've been ready to throw my hands up in the air for a while now... "I give" and just go with the flow.

Lawl, I just joined a few days ago but that's not to say I haven't look through the forums various times before. It's been like a roller coaster of confusion and mayhem. Luckily, I can keep my cool and adjust my schedule accordingly, mainly because I probably won't make it to the autograph session anyway.

RE: Baltimore/Sonar fan unity and behavior.
@jrockisjoujou: You'll still be at the venue, even though you won't be in line the whole time, right? I think you should be fine then if you get someone to hold your spot. You'll still be there, just doing street team stuff. I don't think anyone will have a problem with that.
And the banner isn't going to be walked down the line? People might not want to get out of line to sign the banner, I think it's generally walked down the line by whoever made it. Also, people at the back of the line might not know there's a banner up front.

RE: Baltimore/Sonar fan unity and behavior.
I always look out for small people at concerts. I can't do much for people who might have a problem with me being tall, but I will do what I can to make sure people near me aren't getting squished, and I have another large (but thankfully short!) friend who will be doing the same. I also have a skinny short friend who will most likely be useless, but amusing!
Let me remind everyone that you can't smoke in clubs in MD, so make sure you get your lung-blackening goodness in early!!!
I'm seriously thinking about slapping on a nicotein patch before I go in, so's to cut down on irritability that I can't smoke. I don't want to be watching Vamps and thinking "I wish they'd hurry up and finish so I can get a smoke!"
That is not the way it should be. ;)
At least with no smoking in the club, nobody has to worry about getting blurry eyes!
