Just like the other venues have done, I am starting this thread for VAMPS fans safety and enjoyment at the Sonar show. By now you may have heard about the New York City concert mayhem. Not only pushing and shoving, but literally gouging, hair pulling, pinching, kicking, and foot smashing stuff going on.

For what ever excuses fans come up with as to why this happened in NYC, it's not warrented! Nor will it be tolerated in Baltimore! Telling you this only makes a small difference, because I believe nobody on this forum would participate in such madness nor approve of it. There will be hundreds attending who will not read this, so our small group must do what we can to spread the word!!!!!!!!!

I'm hoping that the meet and greet / autograph session will satisfy the fans needs to be close to the guys, and help to calm people afterwards a bit. But can't guarentee that!

Unfortunately there is no balcolny in Sonar. Correct me if I'm wrong, please! But watching Sonar youtube vids, I couldn't see any. It appears to be just one big "pitt". We don't want a repeat of NYC, especially with no other choices at hand than to be on the main floor.

Please...everyone...while in line...please spread the word!

And last but not least... May we actually get to enjoy the concert, and take it all in: Our 1 1/2 hrs of pure bliss-over before we know it! Our once in a lifetime opportunity for most, and our only possible Jrock live for others.

It's an all ages show... so please be considerate of the "little people" and us semi-elderly.haha
Imagine the person next you being HYDE. He would not have survived "the Pitt" in NYC. *LMAO*

Tell all the people in line next to you... "this is going to be fun...but let's NOT do what happened in NYC, Promise!" Be encouraging, Not scornful!

I'm hoping/expecting people to be more chill for this show. HP said in another thread that she mailed Ai and J and told them about it. I also mentioned it to Ai when I mailed her.

I'm thinking about mailing Sonar also so they can be on the lookout. Anyone who is causing problems for other people should be thrown out.

I apologize in advance if/when I accidentally step on someone/elbow someone/block your view/whatever. I'd never do it on purpose but when everyone is packed together you end up jabbing others.

Lawl, you might want to also add that fighting in the line isn't tolerated either =x - As you probably now, there was a fight while waiting in line that broke out as well. Why people disgrace themselves like such? >:

Ya~Good point! We'll all be guilty of those accidental things too! A little is expected when packed like sardines.

Remember all: if we get jabbed, shoved,etc. by accident, we all must try to let it go ~ not retaliate!

Omgosh ny sounded scary D: I had bad experience before in a pit so I'll be in the back by choice but I hope none of this happens, does sonar have security?
I would also strongly advice girls not to camp out in front of the sonar espically if this place is really a warehouse and espically if its near any bars, Baltimore can be scary at night. I have seen and heard of drunk guys and homeless people hassling people at night espically girls in groups of 3 and less. The concert making the news cause someone got hurt for some reason or another, would not make kaz or hyde happy I am sure.

The pit was insane in NYC. Like, I was fine but I know a lottttt of people had to get out. It was... worse then I expected for sure. And this is good to try and keep people safe but honestly, I think it'll be just as bad. :/ Which I hate to say but, it's true. Just let people around you know if they are claustrophobic or have medical problems if they feel like they need help or can't breath at any point to just GET OUT. Don't stay there if you feel like you'll pass out. Your health is more important. Just chill in the back then, or over to the side. In front of Hyde is probably worst. For NYC I was in front of KAZ and it was bad, but in front of Hyde is probably worse. :/

I emailed Sonar to let them know they may need to be on the look out. I don't know if they check the email address b/c I mailed the before and they never replied, but I tweeted them also and told them to read it.

I mentioned hair pulling, kicking, crowd-surfers hurting others, stomping and just general crazy over aggression.

I want to be up front but I don't want to deal with almost being murdered to stay there. Now J, Ai, and Sonar know about the aggression/violence and will hopefully do something about it.

If anyone in front of me needs to get out then I'll do my best to move out of the way. I try to watch out for others. During 06 I even tried to help the girl next to me find her glasses on the floor (didn't find them until afterward on the other side of the room).

It's a concert not a boxing ring! I'm not too worried about myself but I'd hate for the show to be ruined for others who get hurt.

If the fight in the NYC line is what I think it is... That was absolutely ridiculous and should never have been allowed to happen.

ALSO. I know this seems silly to some people, but can we all PLEASE try to write numbers on our hands, at least for those of us who plan to get there before the sun comes up/possibly the night before? If you know more people are going to join you soon, make sure you include them in your counting, because we DON'T need another NYC line-cutting fiasco. >_<

But I do agree with Missy; I don't see how Baltimore will be much different from NYC in terms of fan behavior. I hope I'm proven wrong, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I was also in front of KAZ so I had pretty much the same experience as Missy, but I heard from friends on Ju-ken's side that it was even worse over there. Seriously, if you can't handle that kind of insanity, don't try to push your limits. You'll end up too upset/injured/etc. to enjoy the show at all. :(

^ The problem with numbers is that this is a free-for-all concert so numbering will not be official. It will only be fan done and others probably don't care what number someone has because it's free-for-all.

It's easy to write #10 on yourself even though you're really number #100. Then there might be a fight over who is the real number ten because the person who lies can make up stories about how they got there really early, their friends saw them, blahblah so on.

Also people might come really early, get their number and then leave and not come back until before the doors open. That's not cool because this is free-for-all so if your ass is not holding your spot than your ass loses your spot. (Like I said before: I'll forgive leaving up to one hour as long as you ask someone to hold your spot)

Since there is no official number then the only way to keep your spot is to stay there and hold it. If you see anyone cutting in line then tell vamps/venue staff. Maybe they can force the line cutters to the back.

Personally, I won't trust a number system because it's not official. There are no special passes so it's wayyy to easy for people to number themselves incorrectly. We would probably have a ton of people numbering themselves 1-20.

And then there's people who aren't numbered at all even though they've been in line all day. Don't want them losing their spots.

I know no one wants to lose their place but this is general admission. Spots don't really belong to anyone. So just hold your place all day and report line cutters to staff.
