I can agree there. I'm actually in southwestern Virginia, i.e. the forgotten corner the state. Even the rest of Virginia doesn't like to acknowledge our existence (I'm only about 20 minutes from the Kentucky border and about an hour from TN and WV).
Maryland is a bit of a drive, but I'm thrilled they're coming back there. If it was any farther, I really don't think I could make it.

This is why I love living in NYC. Seriously, ever since I moved here I have been to SO MANY shows and I know there is no way I would have seen any of the bands I have seen here if I lived anywhere else. The only thing we were lacking was on Anime conventions and now we have the NYAF which is very new so it's not as huge as the others but I can see it becoming much bigger.
