RE: Your Top 7 L'Arc Songs
It's a really hard choice for me to pick seven songs... especially if I need an order on them >.<;;; sooo in no particular order~~
Forbidden Lover: For some odd reason, this song always hits me in the chest. It's so beautiful and sad, and Hyde's voice jumps the range from soft to loud throughout, being so powerful on the chorus for me.
Be Destined: yes, a very old song. I have to say that this song probably pushed me the most to listening to that gorgeous bass line from tetsuya and pushed me more into becoming a bass player, much along the lines of Lover Boy as well.
Seventh Heaven: aka- the song that probably weirds out anyone standing around me lol. I love this song so much for it's odd PV, weird beginning (sounds like fabric ripping) and the whole beat of the song. It's so catchy for me and frequently gets put on repeat.
Lover Boy: YES BASS SOLO... lulz, not the only reason why this song is in my top seven though, it's one that's so catchy for me- despite such perverted lyrics (ah once I learned the REAL lyrics my face turned bright red from singing along with it all the time) but at the same time- I just love this song to death.
Get out from the shell -asian version- : yes- NOT the version with the Japanese lyrics, the one with the English lyrics. For some odd reason- this song is quirky enough for me to love it and somehow dislike the Japanese lyrics version even though hyde's English isn't the best during the song.
Anemone: one of the first slow songs I really fell in love with. The bass part is so moving and the lyrics so beautifully sung for me, with the whole orchestra in the background. And such a beautiful meaning... It took me a while to realize that an Anemone was a flower.
I'm not sure at all if this counts (though it is the same band members) but one of my absolute favorite songs for a long time has actually been I Wish 2007, the song isn't as~~... Christmas-y as the original, giving it a new rock twist with the P'unk~en~Ciel title and making it absolutely beautiful (not to say that the original wasn't good) but the message of this song just hits you harder in the 2007 version for me. It's such a beautiful song.
