Define "real world"......lol. Sure it will.
Points:
Networking - new friends and experiences - networking leads to more jobs than ads.
Job skills - cultural awareness, attention to details, decision making, planning and executing plans, able to work with diverse groups, meet deadlines, editing, etc......it is all tranferable if you think about it and word it right.
