Naturally, we all want VAMPS to perform in our respective countries... and if your country is as huge as the US, you want them to perform in your respective area. Believe me, if I could convince VAMPS to perform in my home state, I soooooo would. Baltimore was fun, but I don't feel very secure in big cities. But regardless of where they decide to tour, I'm pretty sure most if not all of us will continue to support VAMPS.

What I've learned from seeing in VAMPS in Baltimore, among many other things, is that when you buy a CD, you are not just buying a song. Furthermore, when you attend a concert, you're not just watching them perform, but in a way, it's the fans' way of giving thanks to their favorite musicians for making our lives that much more bearable.

So before I start to ramble like an idiot, as most of you know, HYDE has said he hopes to have a Europe tour sometime next year (but it has not been planned). Of course, as much as I'd love to have VAMPS come back here, it would be depriving Europe and other places their respective share, but again, I'm sure that all of us will support them regardless.

Considering this is an American forum, I assume most of us are from the US or pretty much any country that is not in Europe with the exception of a few. For that reason, it is hard for us to do much in European interests, but what I was wondering is what we can do to show our support for next year's tour should a European tour arise? What can we do to ensure the tour is a success even though we are across the ocean?

... So why are you looking at me for ideas? I just started the topic. =/ .... Okay, but seriously, one thing I can think of is making fliers and posting them in a place that is available for fans to spread it. Not to say that they can't do that themselves, but as you know, VAMPS is not just one type of rock, but many, so they appeal to many different types of people, so maybe if we have more people helping out with things like that, we'll be able to attract more of those different types of people.

So anymore suggestions?

I'm from Peru so I seen where you are going with this. But I don't think that we or you (people in the USA) making more people in each our countries like Vamps is going to help Europe @_@.. but I could change your idea into: Making another USA tour possible for next year. Maybe US + Europe. Or something.

Although a roadie in L.A Told me Vamps wasn't returning next year and that if Hyde returned it wouldn't be with Vamps (maybe he meant L'arc? O_O). You never know though. Let's keep promoting~!

Even though I'm in Peru It's easier and less expensive for me to go to the USA than to Europe, not to mention it's hard to get a EU Visa T_T. I would try to go but I'm better off chasing them in the states ^^".

I honestly think VAMPS might be back but if not im very happy for my European friends and I'll always be grateful we got this tour *is missing VAMPS + friends very bad* I think the only thing we can do is just keep doing what we do.. buying CDs/DVDs and showing our love for them.

I read an interview Hyde and Kaz said they want next year's tour to be longer than this year's, and in 3 stages.

I would guess the 3 stages are Asia, Europe, North & South America ... I hope so!

Europe seems to be the priority for next year but I think that they'll squeeze the US in too if possible ^^

I agree too, im from Australia and it was amazing for me to go to the US to see VAMPS perform, and i feel very lucky that i could go. Im not rich and i nearly wiped myself out XD lol but it was very much worth every cent...and if i had the money i hope to get to their lives next year too.
From everything that i have been hearing it seems that Europe will be their next stop. Hopefully they do go back to the US again next year too. US is also cheaper for me to get to as well lol.
I think after this tour many of us have learnt alot particularly those who helped promote the boys in the states. So with whatever tour that happens next whether in the US or Europe or wherever, we have the resources available to help in promoting the next ^.^v
and i think as fans we should all be happy with wherever the boys play. I know there was a fair bit of commotion on their myspace when this tour was announced so hopefully for the next we can all be happy that VAMPS are getting their music across to fans in many different places~

For promoting an overseas tour I think we'd have to do it online mostly. Of course, we can also recruit Europeans/South Americans/whatever to advertise in their own area. They can also translate fliers in their own language.

This forum was built specifically for this last tour in the US, but after we find out the new tour dates then maybe we'll have to change the name to "VAMPS International" or something. Of course, it will still be geared towards tour support, but we can support for all countries.

Well, I think we might help making flyers for people in Europe to print, translating them maybe... BUT European countries have their own Street Teams and they are very active and know their languages better than us. We should ask them if there is any way we could help them... as soon as we all know when and where they will play.
Also we all have contacts from around the world, right? People we've met online that might not be huge fans of VAMPS... we can always beg them to go and see VAMPS :-p we can slowly turn them into fans, even today, even without info of the next tour, we can slip them links, tell them anecdotes etc.

that's a good idea, flyers always helps, at least you can get people interested in found out who VAMPS is.
I've told all my friends about the concert and the autograph session and now they are interested on their music.

I think that it is important to promote their music, many people around the world doesn't know their music so I think we must hurry in that topic.

I didn't mean that. Lawl. I meant in terms of what we can do to ensure VAMPS have a successful visit to Europe. Not like I'd tell my American friends, "Hey, VAMPS is cool! Fly to Europe to see them!"

Well, I doubt he would have meant L'Arc in reference to next year. He probably has no idea what HYDE has planned if anything at all for the United States next year. But like you said, sometimes plans can change so awkwardly.

Well, remember that the European tour has not been planned yet, but HYDE is -hoping- to have one. The problem is that everyone seems to think that VAMPS evaluate their decision based solely on the amount of "PLEASE COME TO OUR COUNTRY!!!" comments on the VAMPS MySpace. Don't get me wrong, those help a bunch, but you also have to take into consideration the marketing aspect of a tour, such as how many CD's are bought from each individual area, how well received they predict they'll be based on the general mindset of the people, etc. So the only way that a Europe tour would be possible is if the country meets both the popularity and marketing factors. Of course, since the tour is scheduled a year in advance, that gives very little time to meet both factors.

But I'm sure the tour is more than possible. I honestly think they have a better chance in Europe than America since Japanese musicians are usually much better received in Europe (hence Visual Kei bands like Versailles, Moi dix Mois, and GOTHIKA successfully continue to tour Europe), largely due the fact that language isn't as big of an issue (The countries in Europe are as close to states are to each other in the US, but they all speak different languages, so they're all probably used to hearing music in a different language). Plus, if I'm not mistaken, 666, FAITH, and HYDE BEST all have German distributions, don't they? ( SO UNFAIR >: )

He said he'd like to include the US in it, too, but he has no idea if it will be possible. But if they were to have a tour like that, that would be sweeeeeeeeeet <3

I agree. Much of our promotion tactics would have to be online and it would be up to the European street teams to be in charge of physically promoting the tour in their countries. Spreading the world, posting the tour info all over the internet, word of mouth, etc... would be very helpful in informing people of the tour.
