That was pointless.. lol I'm sorry but they probably used hyde just to help get their ratings up and the anime more popular. Which worked cause I'm reading and watching BAKUMAN. I wish hyde had a bigger role. Perhaps he will return?
I also like how they used KAZ's white guitar. :D

So I've only watched one episode of this show so far and was wondering totally lost would I be if I just went ahead and watched the part with HYDE?

Hmmm not very...a couple things have happened here and there but it's an anime which means they drag things out for an agonizingly long time. If you saw the first episode you know they want to be manga artists. That's pretty much all you need to know to be honest haha.

Well, there was one of the live performance in that episode, but... it appears to have been blocked for me on copyright grounds. =/ - As for the actual CD version--assuming there's a difference--I can't find it anywhere.
