I think after a prospective employer reads a little of your bio, "...I hale from the world where demons overthrow the light and darkness reigns forevermore," and considers your wealth of experience, at age 89 (1938, virgin bride to Romanian royalty, experienced at running a household staff of vampiric thralls;...etc.), they'll be ready for our references.

Define "real world"......lol. Sure it will.

Points:
Networking - new friends and experiences - networking leads to more jobs than ads.
Job skills - cultural awareness, attention to details, decision making, planning and executing plans, able to work with diverse groups, meet deadlines, editing, etc......it is all tranferable if you think about it and word it right. Icon_biggrin
