Crowd surfing is one thing, hitting/kicking/pulling hair/and other physical harm is another. When you come out of a concert battered and bruised worse than normal...that's wrong.

Crow surfing, although cool, is definitely not permitted at The Wiltern. That goes for both fans and musicians. Yeah, especially after what happened in NYC, security may be pretty tight at The Wiltern. Anyone crowd surfing will probably be thrown out immediately. I believe the same thing goes for moshing.

I considerated the control of behaivor in concert should be good, but is it too much?

I don't like LAPD in the concert, and just interrput the concert by the "concert crazy beh."?
why just standing out the make sure the line up ppl get safty in the early morning of the show day

ppl in concert may just watch the fans who will faint and just call staff to take he/she out
and i think that is enough.

No, I don't think the security is too much, especially when there will be over 1,000 people at the show. I don't know if you read about what happened to the fans in New York, but many fans were hurt because of pushing, kicking, gouging, hair-pulling, etc...Moreover, many of these things were done ON PURPOSE. No one really likes the LAPD, but again, they're not there for people to like. If the crowd gets too rowdy, they need to be there to ensure the safety of EVERYONE at the show. I appreciate your concerns, but safety should always come first, even if it means having strict security.

Also wont this show be recorded for the Live DvD? It would be nice to be on your best behavior for the people of the world who will watch it. I dont want the world to think that Americans (and other nationalitys that will join us) are all brutish :/

these one happened last year allready.
either don't want ppl line up early so the think just thought
"I wanna get more closer to hyde, I have to push more inside"
ga don't have seat # ...

Ps, I been to lots of jrock concer and temp in the back is much "cooler" than the middle of crowd, or maybe i thougt the crazness reaction is very normal in vamps live ( not in larc's )
btw, some guys doing moshing at the back, no secrity come to get them even they really hit some other fans.

I really don't like to see anyone injury in live, but, I don't want to see
a very claming and "classical like concert"..ah...headache.

ARGH yes we don't want people thinking we are brutes!! Icon_stressed Although after hearing the crap that happened at NYC I'm beginning to wonder if maybe we are O.o But yes I think for the show being filmed and what not it will probably be tighter security for that purpose, which is a good thing. There is no rule saying you can't scream your head off or put your hands in the air but pushing and all that is uncalled for and we don't want to make a BAD impression on VAMPS/or other J-rock/pop etc artists who consider coming to America.

RE: Behavior for the Los Angeles Show... - Julnyes - 07-13-2009

hmm, I am considering flying out for the LA show, but all this talk of calling the LAPD in to prevent people from lining up and as crowd control just sounds like a recipe for more trouble.

of course I don't ever like to hear the LAPD mentioned - I'd rather be gouged by a fellow fan than ever interact with those guys.

-----------------

The L.A.P.D aren't being called specifically for the VAMPS concert, if that's what you're thinking. It's sort of a standard procedure with The Wiltern. There are usually only two officers there in the back just to make sure nothing goes wrong. I wouldn't let something like that stop you from coming to the concert. I mean, what happened in New York was an extreme situation and will not happen in Los Angeles.

And no, the L.A.P.D aren't going to show up and prevent people lining up, like you stated above. Again, it's standard procedure for at least two officers to be there just for extra security and to make sure people don't get waaayyy out of hand. So, hopefully with the knowledge of the security at the Wiltern, no one will be stupid enough to start trouble.

RE: Behavior for the Los Angeles Show... - Tokio - 07-13-2009

Is there something wrong with LAPD? I'm not familiar with them, but I don't understand why it would be a problem to have police at the show. There would probably only be a couple, and they would probably only do something if fans got out of hand.

I don't think they'd care about the general pushing/shoving/jumping, so the concert wouldn't be "classical like." I'm sure they're not stupid and would know it's a concert so they wouldn't try to stop normal behavior. Only illegal behavior and stop fans attacking other fans.

Isn't it normal to have police at an event that could get out of control? 1,000 attention starved fangirls can be dangerous.

At least police have the authority (and guts hopefully) to do something if fans start getting violent.
