I'm now back home. It was a fantastic live. I was worried about Ju-ken at first because they started and he just stood there. I was thinking...oh, poor baby still doesn't feel well. WRONG!!!! About 30 seconds later he switched into Ju-ken mode and rocked his ass off.
Hyde looked fantastic and so did K.A.Z. Everyone kept screaming for Hyde and no one said a word for K.A.Z that I could hear. It was like he didn't even exist.
If fact, before the show started, there was a large group of people around me who didn't even know his name. If San Francisco is the same way, I am going to start yelling for K.A.Z.
Songs....I remember Dolly, It's Sad, Revolution, Samsara, Midnight Celebration, Get Up, Sweet Dreams, Devil Side, Vamp Addiction, Angel Trip, My First Last, Hunting, Livewire, Sex, Blood, Rock and Roll. There were probably more.
One sad note......Jay came down the line while we were waiting outside at least 4 times trying to find the winners of the karaoke contest and he didn't appear to find them all. What a shame for the people who did go the concert but weren't chosen. And how could you NOT go when you were chosen?
There were a lot of guys at this live. Two I wished had stayed home, as they kept shouting rude things at Ju-ken and Hyde. One of them kept screaming that he wanted to fuck Hyde. And he was rowdy around the fans.
The crowd was excited and wild but not unruly. I left with no bruises for a change. Missed getting Ju-ken's pick as it bounced off of my shoulder and the girl in front of me about killed herself picking it up. I also lost some hair when people were grabbing the rose petals off of my head after they had been tossed from Hyde's mike. I hate being short!
And yeah, Hyde's MCs were really cute. He had the crowd eating out of his hand.
Tired and have to go to work in about an hour. Well worth the trip and am now looking forward to San Francisco.
