VAMPS LIVE 2009 (Bodukan) DVD
I've only watched a few performances thus far, but just in case you didn't already know, VAMPS LIVE 2009 is AMAZING.
Now I know what you're thinking, "Of course they're amazing! What were you expecting?!" But no, this concert is probably the most delicious thing I've -ever- seen. Originally I thought that since the set list was the same as most of the US tour, then it wouldn't be quite that special, but no. The performances managed to make the songs feel brand new.
Again, I haven't seen the full DVD but so far I am just dying from the sheer awesomeness of this.
For those who HAVE seen it: Talk about being dynamic! Did you see how HYDE just so suddenly changed from the cool, fun-loving HYDE in LOVE ADDICT to the dark, sinister HYDE in IT'S SAD? The sudden change was just appalling! HYDE's expression looked really intimidating, but it was sooooo cool!

RE: VAMPS LIVE 2009 (Bodukan) DVD
I feel bittered about this release really. Sure it's awesome but I hate the fact that the 4th day of Budokan (the one before this live DVD) had a much much much better setlist. I really don't know what they were thinking suddenly switching the setlist like that...
Oh well, I hope the documentary is kick-ass :)

Humorously, until I saw the set list on VAMPS' official website, I thought the DVD was going to be about that one. Like you said, the set list was better, but then again, the performances are so amazing that it doesn't really feel like an old and repeated set list. At least, not to me.

RE: VAMPS LIVE 2009 (Bodukan) DVD
Did anyone else noticed how Hyde didn't try hard to sing better in English?. For instance I think that when he performed in the US he did his best to get the lyrics right and worked hard~! but on this DVD (I saw the deep red performance) He hardly tries to work on his pronunciation. Maybe because he's in Japan and they don't care that much?
Regardless of how he pronounces things the whole show is awesome, the lights, the screens.. (yeah those we didn't get..) everything is top notch I can only pray for the day that Vamps or Hyde or L'arc will get a REAL stage in the US or anywhere abroad xD.
I feel we got cheated regarding DVDs and performance level .__. Maybe he was well rested there or something. Is just my personal opinion, don't get angry ^^"

I honestly didn't notice. I mean, I heard that in Baltimore, he'd completely forgotten the lyrics to VAMPIRE DEPRESSION and only muttered them. I didn't notice when I was there, so yeah. =x - Shows how observant I am.

It makes sense, I think. In America, they have to leave more of an impression. In Japan, everyone knows they're hot, so there's no need to stress themselves out over it. Also, you have to consider that not only does it cost more to transport all the stage equipment, but also they have a much more strict time schedule. In Japan, they can afford to be a few minutes late because they know their fans will be late for them. Overseas, they're not so sure so it's best to keep to a tight schedule.

They weren't worried about being on time for us! In Baltimore I believe they where half an hour late to the autograph session ..as for the concert..that might have started late also. I couldn't see the time after we got in there but it felt like we were standing there forever.
I was feeling hot and sick before the show even started!
Re: English
Yeah, I think he does try more in America. I noticed before that when he sings English lyrics in Japan they seem more slurred together like he's going more for a lazy overall sound instead of clearly saying the words. (Probably because it's easier and the Japanese fans won't notice)
