Don't get me wrong, I would have given K.A.Z the same hug I would have given HYDE if I had the chance. I sometimes fail to give K.A.Z the love and credit he rightfully deserves, but I still love him despite the weird controversial topics I make. I tend to think of K.A.Z like Luigi from Super Mario. Often times he is treated with abuse and neglect, but he's still one of the best characters in the franchise and, despite not getting as much spotlight as his older brother, keeps the series afloat. Same thing with K.A.Z. VAMPS would be nothing without him, but sometimes compulsive HYDE fans like me fail to mention that ^^;;;

Oh, I know what you mean! I love the DVD to no end, but I can't watch the Baltimore part of it without the nostalgia killing me. Even though the performance shown on the DVD was of HELLO, the performance that comes to mind for me is SWEET DREAMS. I'll never forget how unbelievably drenched by face was as a result of that performance. I didn't even realize I'd been crying until after the song was over. It was without a doubt the most moving experience in my life I'd love pay A LOT of money to experience it all over again. I'm hoping that a miracle will happen that allows me to see VAMPS again this year, but I don't think that will happen. =(

I also see what you mean about the fans. There were a lot of people who seemed like the kind that would be turned off at the thought of listening to something in a different language, some people who didn't even seem to be into rock at all, and like I said before, nine-year-old boys (and occasionally girls). This really surprised me largely because of the narrow-mindedness that comes natural at young ages. When I was nine, the thought of listening to something that wasn't from the USA seemed weird to me. The funny thing was that I didn't listen to much music at all back then. It was downright impossible for me to find even one song that I liked, let alone loved, and then... You Get To Burning by Yumi Mastuzawa. Yeah, my first J-Rock experience was not L'Arc or HYDE, sadly. LOL. Anyway, what I'm getting at is that at the age of nine, it seemed weird to me. I didn't, and still don't, know WHY it seemed weird. It just did. So the fact that there were people of such a young age attending the show amazed me.

OH FUCKING LUCKY. If I touched HYDE, let alone talked to him, I think I would DIE. I wasn't even in range to make into the DVD 3= - This wouldn't bother me as much if the cameraman didn't literally swerve completely around me. Not that I can blame them. My hair was a mess and I certainly wasn't the most interesting-looking. I wasn't significantly older, significantly younger, or wearing a VAMPS t-shirt. :X - Still, though. There were a lot of things I was looking forward to, meeting other fans among one of them, that never happened. But I still have great memories and don't regret a single bit going all the way to Baltimore to see them.
