RE: UPDATE: S.F. Autograph session
:-/ I can understand the frustration, but I hardly think there is anyone at all to be blamed for the inconveniences.
I myself am going to fly from Mexico and if the LA autograph session is after August 2nd I will soooo die of sadness X-D
Good luck for you girls trying to change flights and getting hotels, I really do hope you can fix something :-)

btw~ anyone know of a cheap hotel in SF that i can stay the 22nd in? my hotel is booked that day TT I just called and since I'm arriving a day earlier most hotels are booked now >_<

Jazmin,

I wasn't directing my comment to either you or Tracy, as I know you both have worked hard for this tour. In addition, I know full-well that hundreds of people are traveling from all over to see the San Francisco show. Honestly, I really hate having to post information that tells people, "I'm sorry you can't meet HYDE/VAMPS even though it's your life's goal to do so." It really, really, really sucks having to do that, especially since I know what this means to people - to us.

When I told the guest user that we should be grateful that VAMPS have chosen to come to the U.S. in the first place, I did so because it's true. It's understandable that people are going to be angry and there is nothing that I can do to prevent that. Rather, I am trying to remind people that we are ALL lucky to have them come to the U.S., and even more fortunate if we're able to even go to a concert. Many people are not even able to do that. So, in some sense, these "autograph sessions" should just be considered an added bonus and an incentive for those who've not yet purchased tickets, to do so. As you may already know, west coast tickets aren't selling, so hopefully this autograph session will "motivate" people to purchase the tickets. I really appreciate your concerns and I am not without understanding of yours' (and many others') situation. I hope you'll be able to work something out so that you are in fact able to attend the session.

^^ no I didnt say it to put you off either, I apologize if that's the way it sounded because yes we are very grateful ^^ Honestly 99.1% of us actually didnt expected an autograph session. We know how hard is to get them (even as hydeist living in japan) but sadly much harder to attend with the news so close to the due date.

Anyway~
As a matter of fact I just found a hotel farther from the venue but at a decent price so I'll live ** (making reservations now)

It does suck lol. This is really good news but a lot of us are receiving it like bad news because we've already made travel plans. Icon_crying Aw Vamps! If you'd only scheduled it one more day in advance ... ah, well. At least we'll see them at the concert right? Icon_3nodding

RE: UPDATE: S.F. Autograph session
I completely understand about them trying to sell more tickets but whats the use doing meet and greets for that purpose if its on a date people cant attend? Many people that live in CA have to work etc during the week and the poor souls flying like me can't afford to change plane tickets and pay for hotels for 2-3 more days so we can make the session.

Don't get me wrong im very grateful vamps is even coming but they should know when they announce something like this its going to get everyone's hopes up and im sure some people have already bought tickets just to attend this session and now they might not get to go..

RE: UPDATE: S.F. Autograph session
sorry i seemed so ungrateful, but really i was super excited when i found out they would do an autograph session in SF, where i live, and was already planning on what time to be there etc.. so finding out the actual date is something i absolutely cannot make is a big blow to me. but maybe i should have just kept my frustration to myself.

i bought my ticket as soon as they became available and am surprised they haven't sold out - since when HYDE was here a few years ago tickets were gone as soon as they came out (but maybe this is a much larger theatre than Fillmore/Slim's)

Another point well taken. But we also have to consider several issues: VAMPS tour schedule, the possibility that it took much longer to organize this than expected (that much is true, I know), and just a whole other bunch of issues. They had been working on this for a while, and somewhat as a last-ditch effort to boost ticket sales because they are not doing well at all.

VAMPS' tour staff also knows that a lot of people would be angry about this and they also know that they can't please everyone. But what could they do? I am not going to pretend I know everything about the planning process of a meet 'n greet session because I don't. I do know that there were a lot of delays in getting confirmation and some other things that were out of the staff's control. They know not everyone can make it, but they believe there is a good number of people who can. Again, I can't express enough how much this news may suck for many of you. Heck, even I might not be able to attend an autograph session. But the bottom line is that it's understandable that many of you (if not all) are going to be pissed. However, again, please consider the circumstances in which these events are being planned.

No, see, I completely understand your frustration (I'd probably be pissed myself). However, I just want people to see the bigger picture and perhaps, ease the frustration a little? I dunno...I'm very much stuck in a difficult position because as a fan, I know how disappointing this is. However, when I am given this information, I am obligated to post it. I know it may hurt a lot of people, but it could also be helpful to many. I just want people to see the positive side of this, if any, and try (if at all possible) not to focus so much on the negative.

RE: UPDATE: S.F. Autograph session
Do you have any idea about the LA show since apparently your the only person that can get any real information out of Ai? I still haven't bought my train ticket yet from San Diego to LA and if the signing is going to be on any day other than august 1st i have to change hotels around since i wasn't planning on leaving San Diego until the 31st and trying to find a good cheap hotel NOW is going to be nearly impossible. I'm sorry I dont mean to sound so pissed i'm just irritated that we were told a week before the live about the dates when its pretty much impossible to make changes to travel plans.
