Your friend is correct. I was pricing them last night and they are going for a little over $600 if you fly out of San Diego.

I haven't even checked out accomodations in Hawaii. That is not going to be cheap either.

I found on Expedia.com that I can get a roundtrip ticket out of LAX to Honolulu for $880, including hotel. This is also if I left Monday, May 28th and left Saturday, June 1st. It's cheaper to book hotels + airfare on Expedia. Kayak.com is also good for comparing other sites.

The ticket for the VAMPS hawaii show was only $150 USD, which I considered to be SUPER cheap. The original ticket for shows in japan cost about $110 already so $150 in Hawaii is super cheap.

I would expect L'Arc ticket to cost around $200.

But even if it costs $300, I would still go cause these concerts aren't going to happen again.

I've been checking hotel prices and am amazed! I've found 3 close (as close as can be since it is sitting in a park) for $99 to $105. This is sure cheaper than NYC!!!!!

I may do some serious reconsidering here about going.......

yea..hotels in NYC are pretty expensive. And you can sure enjoy the beaches in Hawaii!!!

I want to clarify something in the hope that someone would read it. (not directed to anyone here, but just my feelings after reading from various places regarding the hawaii show)

May 31st show will be on sale to public (should be both japanese and foreigners)
June 1st show will be only available to LE-CIEL members who joined the tour package to go to Hawaii.

I know people are complaining about only LE-CIEL members can go to June 1st show. But I think we should be happy that they actually open up the May 31st show to the general public. Also, even if the Japanese people get better seats (which is the case here - people who joined the tour package will have better seats to the May 31st show), we shouldn't complain. At least you should think about the FC tour package from Japan is actually quite expensive.

I went to the VAMPS Hawaii show. Yes, I was disappointed when I found out Americans/ foreigners were the last ones to get in the venue. But after the show, I was so grateful. I'd rather be able to attend the show at the back than not being able to attend the show at all. Of course, the closer to the stage the better, but sometimes we can't ask for more.

I will be going to both NYC and Hawaii show no matter what. Having a concert in MSG is hyde's dream and I couldn't let myself staying at home while his dream comes true (that's just my personal thing).

I wish everyone could find a happy solution and be able to see at least one show. It is sad to read all these negative thoughts when it should be a great thing that they're coming.

Hmmm.....are you positive that the LC show is only for those who purchase a whole package or do you just have to be a member of LC to purchase the live tickets? There is a huge difference there.

I know they will offer a tour package for the LC fans in Japan but I am hoping that they will consider the rest of us LC fans who don't need the whole package.

For June 1st, you have to be LE-CIEL member AND you have to purchase the tour package.

Usually they have different kinds of tour package. Some are including everything (plane tickets from japan+hotel), and some are including just hotel. They haven't announced anything yet. I personally hope that they will have tour package with hotel only. Cause otherwise I can't really fly to japan to join the package.....

But nothing have been announced yet....So we just have to wait.

Yeah, that is my dilemma. I'm a member of Le Ciel but don't want to have to purchase a package. If I have to fly from Japan, then I would go to Japan shows and not Hawaii. I hope we hear something soon so we can plan.

You could always try sharing a hotel room with someone, split the costs in half.
