"VAMPS announce U.S. shows following their European tour!!! Their overseas debut album “SEX BLOOD ROCK N’ ROLL” to be released on Sept 25th (in Japan)!!

Having recently added an extra London show to their upcoming European tour, VAMPS have just announced the dates for their long awaited U.S. shows.

Announced today were two shows, to be held on Dec 4th (Wed) at the House Of Blues, Los Angeles, and on Dec 8th (Sun) at the Roseland Ballroom, New York.
Both venues are famous for hosting several major artists in the past.

VAMPS’ newest album “SEX BLOOD ROCK N’ ROLL” will be released not only in Japan but also globally in their host countries and the rest of the world. These U.S. dates will surely add to the growing excitement as their overseas activities properly kick off!

Dec 4th (Wed): Los Angeles House of Blues (Los Angeles)

VAMPS' NIGHTMARE BEFORE XMAS

Since VAMPS are planning to visit the US this December and since they have yet to host an overseas Halloween live, let's make this December our OWN Halloween live! Yes, this December will be our own version of a Halloween live!

Here's how to participate: All concert attendees are encouraged to show up to the concert in a Halloween costume. Please note that certain costumes may not be appropriate (such as costumes that have dangerous items like guns, knives, etc. or costumes that require the person to be fully nude).

Some good costume ideas: vampires, werewolves, zombies, devil horns, bat ears, princess costumes, police officer (minus the handcuffs and weapons), Dr. Jekyll/Mr. HYDE, etc. I will post more information on where you can get a costume and or tutorials on how you can make your own. :D

Can I say that I screamed my heart out at my work's kitchen by just reading this? Let's just say that I'll ask for a couple of days off for this incredible event. Thanks to my brilliant idea of opening a Xmas club account :-) :-)

Here's the eternal quandary about dressing for a concert - what are we going to do with our winter outer wear, to expose our costumes, when we enter the venues? Even if coat check is available, you often have to choose between that and getting near the stage.

Also, I might suggest people avoid costumes that are high enough to block the view at concert.

Is there any update on the VIP Meet & Greet package?
When do they go on sale, price, etc?
I've already purchased the tickets through Live Nation pre-sale. I'm worried that I will have to switch my tickets like LA concert.
Can anyone please help me here? ;o;

Things seems a little off since the ticket frenzy ended. Maybe it's because some of us are working overtime to afford the trip (my case) but I remember a couple years ago that I could see a lot of movement.
Am I the only one with that impression?
It is that there's not good promotion this time?
Has something happened that I didn't know?

By the way, thanks a lot for the VAMPS American Street Team for keeping us updated during the ticket VIP tension thing ;)

I'm not really sure where everyone went. Maybe most fans grew up and no longer are into following the band fanatically, maybe some lost interest. Maybe some are just busy saving money.

I know since Livejournal community died it seems everyone scattered. Some on facebook, some on tumblr. Everyone seems to own their own fan group, so instead of having a lot of fans in one place we end up with a few fans in a lot of places.

Personally, I don't like tumblr at all, and I don't like facebook for conversations. I think facebook is good for just posting news but not good for conversations and linking things in comments and organization. I find the lack of comment customization makes it harder to read. It just looks messy to me. But to each their own.

The concerts are also in December which is Christmas season. People are saving money for Christmas shopping. Some people may be going out of town to visit family. I'm curious to see if the concerts will be a success when they are so close to Christmas family visiting.

For some people it comes down to hundreds of dollars for Christmas gifts/travel OR hundreds of dollars to go to a 2hr-+/ concert. Some people can't do both.

I wish there was more participation here, too. There used to be. Seems like the same small "core" of us here now. Even with the addition of new members all of the time.
