ehhh, this one hits me about like NEXUS4 did in 2008. it took me awhile to fully appreciate it, but i really enjoy it now. which might be better than my response to BLESS, which i loved at first, but don't have much desire to listen to anymore. it fit a specific theme for me and was too unlike their usual fare. i guess i should admit that i only listen when i watch the pv, which makes me grin when i think of them walking on treadmills to film that "stroll".
like NEXUS, Perfect Blue and RSG, this feels like hyde is in a head-long rush to get all of the lyrics out in time with the very busy sounding score. but at least the back-up vocals aren't so heavily layered they overpower the main vocal line.

[those are all tetsuya compositions one will note and he sometimes has this tendency to be very creative which CAN make it difficult for the poor lyricist/vocalist later on.

don't know if this is a te-chan piece, but would be surprised if it isn't as it doesn't sound like the other 3 at all to me.

nice to hear tetsuya's bass so well [i LOVE his bass playing!], but some of the guitar is a little grating to my old lady ears [reminds me of RSG when ken gets really wound up and they are on *super-speed* performance when hyde can't even GET all of the words out. lol]. ...orchestra at times is irritating too. what can i say?? ^ ^
just give me time. i'm sure i'll enjoy it more and more. main thing is, there's finally something new for folks to talk about. and it sounds promising that there will be more to come.
{i am exercising my right to NOT absolutely love it just because my favorite band produced this new bit to add to their truly amazing portfolio of goodness and to offer not so much a critique as explanation of why i haven't been dancing in glee since i first heard it. please don't throw rocks at my grizzled head.

edit---btw, i was amazed at how quickly SONY got the version posted on YouTube everyone was linking to on various sites taken down. especially since it was a radio rip, right? woh!
