RE: After the tour...
(08-13-2009, 04:16 PM)Love_Addict Wrote: Its very intersting how VAMPS, sounds. They have a little heavier sound than the older 80's bands. Both hyde and K.A.Z like american music, thats the much older music. Cheep trick,Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, The Cranberries.
I mean have you seen Motley Crues Video" Kick start my heart" the songs are very different but the videos are very alike,
Promoting them is very hard too, it can be done. It really can, but so many people think they are not worth the listen because they are from a different contry. There music is not so different, but the lyrics are more deep than many of the small minded bands. America has very good music fyi. Its the message that kills most of the songs.
There are some clicks that enjoy Jrock music. I tried to spread it around my friends, but most were shocked they were men. haha, i duno why
So i just kinda gave up on them and moved on with other people. I think Hottopic is the best place. and other stores or places like that. Places that poeple are more open minded. Music stores are always good, because people go there for all kinds of music. Maybe Best Buy? The raidio seems like a very good idea. They are always looking for something new. Like just a year ago Tokio Hotel was playing on my local staion. Then again they got a lot of request because they were giving away prizes too. Free stuff is the heart to alll people. Flyers are good. but i would recomend logos. on things. Just one logo for every one to recognize them, because if we have multiple ones people might get confused haha.
I will spread the word all around Texas (:!
ps. Maybe a official U.S.A fanclub? like local ones. im sure that will take alot of funds. but it might be possible? im just trowing ideas (x
The instant I saw "I Gotta Kick Start Now" I was reminded of Motley Crue's "Kickstart My Heart" The video's are so similar and the way they are dressed is very similar. You can tell that Motley had a big influence on that video, for sure. The music that Kaz likes I know is a mixture. It's not just one genre of music. Nine Inch Nails, Killing Joke, MuteMath...and if you watch the one interview they did where Hyde is even speaking of Nirvana, Motley Crue there are times Kaz is nodding, in agreement. Right there is a big span of different genre's of music. Hyde would probably be more of a "lyric" kinda guy where as Kaz would be more of "music composition" kinda guy. I'm not saying that they don't respectively care about "lyrics" and "music composition" because I'm sure they do, it's just Hyde is more lyric based since he writes lyrics himself and Kaz writes music and puts it together. If you understand my meaning.
I think it would be nice to have a USA fanclub and I'm sure they were very shocked to see how many people outside of Japan love them. Hopefully they'll consider opening an overseas fanclub? I hope.

RE: After the tour...
I would give anything if they would open VAMPADDICT up to the rest of the world. I'm getting such a headache trying to get my account renewed. They must know now they have tons and tons of hardcore fans here that would pay to join.
It's looking like I'm going to have to pay about $160 to get my account renewed so paying 5800 yen and a little extra for shipping would be a a huge relief for me!
L'arc~en~Ciel 20th L'Anniversary was amazing!!
THANK YOU VAMPS!

Yes, it is on a standard 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper. It fits nicely on both sides on the back of the car windows.
This is converted from a Word file which started out as a Publisher file.
