Well, maybe I won't say that, but I'm glad they'll have an interpreter. I just know that as soon as I see Hyde and Kaz, the tiny bit of Japanese I know will just fly right out of my head...

I agree. You might want to try writing to the Otakon staff and see what they say (they replied back to me very quickly).

Sonar released legit information about an autograph signing at 2pm on Thursday before the concert. First of all, that doesn't make any sense. How do they expect us to leave the concert line to form a NEW line for the autographs? I'm guessing that the concert line will turn into the autograph line. So people will go in and then come back out to wait in line again for the concert. That's a little odd...I've never encountered that before. Okay, so then at 3pm, everyone is settled and waiting in line. Then, 2 hours pass and at 5pm people start leaving the line to get their Otakon passes in the shorter, special VAMPS line (which we have idea where it will be and will have to find out when we get there). So, we all end up getting our passes, YAY! Then we wait in the line again until the concert. Somehow we find out about the VIP special pass thing and probably get it when we show them our tickets and Otakon pass upon getting inside. The concert ends (and it's definitely mind-blowing/amazing/vampstastic/and so on). Next day. Friday at an unknown time, Otakon has the VAMPS panel (which is mostly unknown). We find out where the VIP line is and get in early? There is the Q&A part that will most likely happen first, but I've collected that there's also an autograph session at the Otakon panel? Why two? I'm guessing that they're having the one at the Sonar for the people who aren't going to Otakon and that's awesome for them! :D Except, that it's also super confusing. In actuality, the people who are going to both Otakon and the Sonar can get two signatures...am I right? Well, that just seems strange to me especially since... Hyde never does autographs. Is all of this correct??
Hyde doesn't do autographs in japan cause really he doesn't "need to". It may sound cold or pure business but seeing that the sales are not going as expected (sold out) they need to do this to get more people going (probably even japanese people that never get their autographs?) and getting them "out there" since they seem to be into getting inside the american music market. Recession time calls for unusual measures. I'm glad they are doing it though ^_^

XDDDDD! Yeah really. I think it's not sold out because they are playing at so many different places (as opposed to the four last time). I mean if they were only playing in CA, I'd fly out there again!

This confusion and running around is like concert-hell.
*LOL* ~ Haidoist ~ You're kiling me! High Five! Hit the nail on the head!
Thanks for the summary/interpretation in 500 words or less! *lol*
It's all becoming so circus like. I can't stop laughing of what I'm going to be puting my husband through on this adventure, and could there be any more possible dilemas to add to the confusion.
Hopefully our "concert hell" will end up "concert heaven."
I'm pretty sure all of us die hards on here will end up meeting them.
I can just feel it.
Most of the Japanese meet and greets are just that.
meet: physically stand in front of and try to make eye contact, bow, utter some words (hopefully worth saying), very quickly.
greet: possbily shake hands(maybe!) give them something to sign, bow,
move over, next! (about 5 mississippi!)
If they go that rate, alot of fans will get through, but perhaps they will allow more time. I'm assuming that the speed the security shuffle you along will be based on the line at 2:00.
btw... what about fans who bought at will call... ought oh!
t.g. i printed mine out

-death-
We get to meet them twice though? o.o All the Baltimore/Sonar/Otakon people get to meet Hyde and K.A.Z. twice... I'm more than a little shocked.

RE: Roll Call! Who's coming?
woohoo the Otakon panel is scheduled for 2pm!!! (check the tweet above forum hehe) lol I was getting worried, 'cause my flight takes off at 8-something pm that day XD;; >.>; And we get to submit questions at the Otakon site? Does that mean..like..there won't be a mic for the fans or anything? But it's not like I could ask them anything with them staring at me..I would literally melt

RE: Roll Call! Who's coming?
I wondering that too - about the whole question thing... submitting questions on the Otakon site is over, right? Because the tweet says you can still submit questions but... where? o_O And can we not ask questions the day of them? Seems like no... I definitely want to submit a question if I can. I have a good (pointless) question I ask every band. :')

RE: Roll Call! Who's coming?
The questions confuse me too... I was thinking that you submit questions and VAMPS picks the questions they like ahead of time and then at the actual panel you're called up to read your question. Or your name is mentioned and someone else reads the question...which kind of makes it less personal. =\
So wait... 2pm on Friday the VAMPS Q&A/autograph panel is??
