VAMPS LIVE 2012

According to HYDEIST and VAMPSxxx, VAMPS are set to tour Japan in August through September this year. Something special appears to be happening in one or more of the Tokyo shows. Maybe, maybe not, but it seems important if they're going to give it its own title ("VAMPS TOKYO").

Hopefully some of these lives will be streamed and most important new material released!! I will do with even just one new single!!! <3

(Also, in my wildest dreams, I'd like to think that maybe, just maybe, there will be a chance that the ROENTGEN NIGHT performances allowed HYDE to experiment with the songs and hopefully find one or more that works well in their setlist... or maybe even he could release some distorted versions of pre-existing songs. I would sell my soul to the devil to hear a distorted version of New Day's Dawn and a studio version of the distorted version of Oasis!)

This is both exciting and sad. I love VAMPS but it really feels like L'Arc doesn't stay together very long. Seems to they do like..1 year of L'arc stuff then years of solo stuffs.

I feel sad, too. I like VAMPS but L'Arc is my band. Hopefully, they will still record and tour around schedules. No one else has mentioned anything about solos.....yet. Perhaps at the tour final?

I think that's what makes L'Arc shows so magical. The anticipation... <3

I honestly don't think this will effect anything pertaining to L'Arc in the slightest. Suppose the VAMPS tour wasn't announced and didn't take place, I tend to think that there would be nothing but silence in between then and the next time L'Arc were to do something new.

A lot of people seem to not realize that the reason L'Arc appears to be touring on-and-off instead of on a more regular basis lately is more due to marketing than the possibility of the band splitting up or anything like that. I'm not saying anyone was suggesting that here, but I've seen too many comments like "Oh, they're touring less therefore they're on their last legs and might be breaking up soon." In reality, they're probably touring less because L'Arc is their main cash cow and the less they tour, the more they can charge for ticket prices, tour goods, etc. and the less shows there are, the more tickets are bound to be sold, and the more tickets are sold, the more of a hot commodity they become.

Anyway, what I'm saying is that the members' solo projects are just time-fillers that probably don't effect L'Arc in the slightest. I'm just saying that I'm pretty sure that they thought "Heh, since we're not doing anything L'Arc-related here, I guess I'll book some VAMPS gigs on these dates" rather than "We can't book any L'Arc gigs on these dates because I have VAMPS gigs then." Of course, you also have to take into consideration K.A.Z's convictions with the Oblivion Dust tour, as well as the convictioins of the support band as well as the band members of the other L'Arc side projects which may prevent them from doing anything solo.

Truly amazing and very well put about L'Arc.
