So, I was browsing VAMPS' Wikipedia article when I found this...

That, and I'm fairly certain that they 1) wouldn't name a tour or album "New World" thus causing confusion with the L'Arc song, and 2) bring a new band member in--unless he/she is for support--as HYDE already said that VAMPS is "just the two of us." That combined with the fact that there's yet to be a single announcement for a new album or supporting tour as far as I'm aware.

So normally this would be more than enough reason to tell me that it's all complete rubbish, but... my curiosity overtakes my logic. So although I highly doubt it's even the slightest bit true, I was wondering if anyone could verify this information? (With, of course, citations to the appropriate website.)

On my end I have no information regarding that, specially because next year will mostly be about L'arc, maybe a collaboration between L'arc and vamps could be possible, but a new member out of the blue and from Hyde's former bandmates seems unlikely. If I find out more info will post here ^_^.

Tetsuya would not let a Vamps collaboration with L'Arc go a head. He cares to much about the band to have such a "gimmick?"(unsure how to explain how silly a collaboration between them would be) happen.

As far as next year. It's said to be L'Arc year but Tetsuya is releasing an album in January and then going on a tour in March I think? Could be wrong about the month. Either way
I think Vamps could have some touring for early to mid way next year too. Maybe L'Arc wont 'kick start' till the 2-3 quarter of the year with an album release or something.

I mean nobody said it was L'Arc year? All we know is the La'Happy New Year and that 2011 is their 20th Anniversary. 2006 was their 15th Anniversary but all they did was those Tokyo Dome shows at the end of the year. They may do that next year too? Who knows? Just the band and ...J ^__^ among others.

I think that Ken is also performing in the early part of the year. It would be logical for VAMPS to also continue while the other guys are touring. However, I think a world tour is highly unlikely. I figure that this last one cost Hyde quite a bit of money.

Oh how exciting... if the information is true that is... I would love Ju-ken to be permanently a part of VAMPS. He got good charisma and seems to have good chemistry with VAMPS. Don't get me wrong, I would love the current supports to all be officially a part of VAMPS too but Ju-ken stands out the most.

As for L'Arc, they are coming back for their 20th Anniversary which is around the last quarter of 2011.

You guys are worrying me! Don't get me wrong...I obviously love VAMPS but I was so hoping that L'Arc would do full on activities in early-mid 2011. Now the news about Tetsuya touring in March and stuff gets me icky...next year around July I'm going to Japan for the first time in my life and it would truly be a dream come true to finally see L'Arc perform.

And of course everyone is expecting new songs! I'm pretty sure they said a new single is coming up but we all want a new album too!XD

I think there's a misunderstanding or it's just a rumor.
