Oooh, yes! They are coming to Seattle!!!

And unlike *some* Jrock superstars ( <.< Yoshiki! ),
they didn't schedule their concert in Seattle within a day of VAMPS
coming to CA!
Causing me to have to figure out how I can possible see both!

Editted to say I must have been insane from hours of JITB karaoke - X Japan is playing in Seattle *the day of* VAMPS first concert in CA! Arrghhh.

I expect a great performance this year. They where my last concert experience and they did a bunch of old school goodies during the encore. I imagine that this year will be the same because as I watch their setlists evolve, old songs seem to become more normally integrated into their sets.

It's not like I'm one of those fans that doesn't appreciate their new stuff. I just always want to hear maybe 30-70% new stuff at a show and the rest being a song or two off all the bands older material, but here I am being Picky McPickerton...

Well it deffinitely looks like they'll play Rasetsukoku because they've been playing it at every show since they hit London but I really hope they play some Kasumi, Child Prey and/or Embryo like the did in Japan earlier this year. I'll post their setlist for the New York show tomarrow night or early on Wednesday and you can most likely expect that whatever old songs they play in New York tomarrow they will probably play in LA. They seem to like to give us "special" treatment.

I saw them in London this month and it was great. I was a bit afraid, because I didn´t really like Kyo´s voice in many of the live dvd´s of them that I watched, but seeing the real thing was awesome (and they played 3 songs from The marrow of a bone, so I was thrilled ^^)

Oh I wont be going to the New York show but I'll know their setlist tonight for sure.

Die posted a myspace blog today saying that they are going to play stuff they've never played in North America again so...

Expect to hear some old goodies. Last year they played some old songs in Japan and then they played those songs as encores in the states. This year I watched their Japanese setlists include Kasumi, Child Prey, Embryo, Byou Shin, Shinsou, Sajou no Uta, New Age Culture, Gyaku... Kiloid Milk, Hatorubi, 304 Goushitsu...

I would expect the new york and LA shows will include a few of those songs.

hopefully watev they decide to evolve into next will be a step towards their Kisou era, or at least Vulgar
