I'm not stupid, I've understood it was self-derision (Jack Sparrow, go out from Hyde's body!!!!), that they were having fun, but that's not excuse from having any thread in that PV.

I love VAMPS, but I'm trying to be objective, that's all.

That's fine and you're entitled to your opinion. However, when does it become necessary for a video to make sense? In this case, the video evokes the feeling of the song and to me, it does make sense and it does follow a "thread."

Just to translate my comment from the FST forum, to argue (I thought that to argue means to get angry with someone ) a little more :

I didn't succeed in watching the whole PV the 1st time. For me, it's dull and I dare, poorly directed, without any rythm or thread. AND too much parodic.



Like a Quentin Tarantino Film! Some will think it's absolutely amazing, the others will think it's really bad... (Sorry for the Quentin Tarantino's fans )

I didn't quite understand your comment about arguing = being upset with someone. If, however, you felt that I or anyone was upset with you, then I apologize (if you felt that way of course). Arguing means expressing different opinions, not picking a fight with someone. At least, a real educated argument is anyway.

I think, though, in this case the difference is a matter of taste, as opposed to real technical faults. What I mean is, by way of your Quentin Tarantino example, the cinematography is great and I'm sure Quentin Tarantino knows what he is doing and understands the technical aspects in making a film. However, like you mentioned above, others might not think so. Others might understand this fact and where Quentin is coming from, but simply don't like it anyway. So, like I said before, this is a matter of taste, in addition to a difference in opinion.

Film, music, etc....are all different forms of art. And with that territory comes the idea that art is and probably will always be, subjective. So, that's my 2 cents.

I learnt that to argue stands for "se disputer" = to get upset with smb
I was surprised by the translation of "argumenter" (a verb): it's to argue too (on wordreference.com) (= giving arguments)
you can notice that they are very alike ^^

On the flip side, engaging in an argument could also mean having a healthy debate with someone and expressing a difference in opinions.

I enjoyed very much the PV< is transmits me a feeling of happiness, and I did see a line O_O a story, I mean: plot. Looking for the treasure, then it turns it is not what they expected, then they don't care because they were in for the fun? Don't know, maybe I'm reading tea leafs here XD

XD Do we need disclaimers now? No one is arguing, or fighting, or disputing. Isn't it all just a friendly debate?

XD Hyde Sparrow! I loved it. And now just because I love everything that Hyde does. It's fun, it's summery. I agree with Hedelex that the treasure wasn't what mattered XD It was the fun! It's not the destination, it's the journey!

And haven't we all learned by now VAMPS don't have to make sense? And that's the point. First Devil Side wasn't good, now this? I guess VAMPS can't please everyone XD But that makes it interesting... Veeeery interesting.

Case in point. I love it. It's a nice change from all the "dark" stuff they've done. And it's one thing about Hyde I admire is he does the craziest things and gets away with them. He made it clear this is not L'Arc. And I like it (Even with Hyde sparrow XDDDD)
