I want to go to Comic Con since they'll be doing the Q+A, but I'm from PA...
Would anyone have room somewhere for me to stay? T_T

I don't think the time for the Q&A will be announced until MUCH closer to the con, when the overall schedule is announced.
I assume it'll be sometime in the early afternoon though, rather then later in the day. If I had to guess I'd say like, 2-3pm if not earlier? But that's just my guess. :/

...personally, I'm heading to the con Friday, then right in line for the show Saturday after this, but if anyone did have a hotel, I'd totally chip in a bit to be able to go back and shower and rest for a few hours or something~.

Alright let's do this guys! I'll make the reservation, just tell me what's the best/closest/cheapest hotel to the comic con. And is the comic con close to the venue? I'm going to be walking/taking the metro everywhere in unfamiliar territory so... >.<;;

And I am going to buy a ticket for the Con [fingers crossed]...but maybe for being their special guest they'll wait until later...like I bet they'll do with Stan Lee

I sent a note to J through Myspace and he answered me saying that the people of the Con won't tell him anything else until at least one month apart from the event....so until September there won't be any specific details

Comic Con is at the Javits Center, which is 34th & 10th Ave. Roseland Ballroom is 52nd & between 7-8th Ave. They're relatively close... and honestly I don't even know where to tell anyone to find a hotel, as I usually don't get a hotel in the city, but I live an hour+ ...and would like to stay in the city for this weekend. |D But those are the locations are near midtown and it is expensive in midtown. I don't know, I'm no help with hotels. :x

Finally got my ticket for the NYC Anime Con. It was just $30 and they'll mail it to me, which is cool. I choose an hotel that was a little far from those two places, but it was cheap that the taxi trip won't be a hassle.

I know that most of the fans traveling will want the hotel to be close to either the venue or the Con due to security reasons, so maybe you can go to google maps and after you put either the convention or the Roseland Ballroom's address it will show you the hotels nearby...then you can enter their websites and checkout the prices.

Just saying, if anyone needs help with subways, I'll be more then happy to help you :3 Subways cost $2.25, no matter the distance!

(I was in DC this past week, and I was so confused using the metro - so I know how it can feel... and NYC's is a bit larger, haha.)

NYC is a pretty safe city as long as you avoid those legit dark alleys, stay on main avenues as long as possible and you will be fine. The concert isn't going to be over at like 4am - midnight in NYC is safe, especially on a Saturday night - just watch out for the drunks |D;;;
