I'm not sure if this is the right timing for me to write here (I'm Japanese..) but all I can say is I agree to the comment that all fans are somewhat demanding in their nature. But then, I am excited about VAMPS for their ambition, inspiration, and passion for trying to put coolest sounds they can make together and sending them out to the world, and just having fun with it. I know there's lot of commercial part included in their promotions, goods, etc, well that's natural cause they are doing this for business.

I noticed some crazy comments about bashing girls on PV or other not really nice things to say for personal life stuffs. It makes me feel just sad. I'm sure our rock stars know what they got themselves into by being stars (I'm sure being stars are crazy businesses), but hopefully we won't see many crazy fans saying crazy things. I remember that hyde-san mentioned about the danger of the internet, and his thoughts was 'think about what you'll write on the internet if your identity was disclosed' or something like that. I'm on the same tone here. But this issue is not only for Japanese fans but fans from any country, I think.

Personally, I've been a fan for K.A.Z-san for more than 10 years, and I just want to enjoy what they do and their music. And I am actually really happy that they are doing world tours; it's like a great opportunity to show off how cool they are to the world in my perspective. I'm not sure that's what the majority of Japanese fans are feeling or not, but that's my take.

Eh, I don't see why it should be a bad time for you to write here. We're only talking about the Japanese fans that were not so supportive (which, as you can probably see, was not a large enough number to make too big of an influence), not the more loyal fans as I'm sure you probably are (otherwise you would probably not be posting here). People in America act the exact same way sometimes. I hope it didn't sound like I, or anyone else, was saying that the Japanese fanbase as a whole was like that.

On a different note, yes, there is definitely marketing involved in the promotion of their music, but that's certainly not malicious. It's called making a living. You have to make money to survive so you can continue to do what you love, right? That's just how I see it.

Of course, crazy fans are everywhere. Even if some people here had bad experiences with some Japanese fans, it doesn't mean everybody acts this way. I can assure I met many Hydeists and Vampaddicts very nice, it doesn't matter the Country you are coming from!

I don't know about that disrespect you mention, I have not read those comments D-: I did read something about less blonde model and more VAMPS :-p
But I would love too that people unite no matter where they come from because they all love music... or any other reason, people is constantly united by ecology, disasters, stories, prejudices, etc. I am glad to be part of it, we can affiliate to dislike and to like and love and hate, but we still are together so we can hope for the best.

I get so sick of people at shows being all savage like that. It happens at almost every show I go to, everyone's having a gay ol' time then this elitest bitch has to give you this big guilt trip about you ending up in front of her(<personal experience,) The venue starts taking people in and a large group of people walking around in front of the line run up, cut you and get in first(<another personal experience)...
Sometimes in a show you get shoved into some girl and her boyfriend is threatening to beat the shit out of you, Some jerk keeps pulling your hair or kicking the back of you leg, or this scary pit with bleeding tattooed mosh-men keeps trying to suck you in...

The crazy fans who are to much rough fun moving around don't bother me as much as the people who are just mean-spirited and can't even enjoy the show. They have to take away from the experience of others for one reason or another, using put downs and angry glares. I say if a fan is rude to you for being American just ignore them. They don't represent Japan and they don't represent Vamps. If any fan pisses you off, just remember, they represent nothing but themselves and they are burning their own chance to have fun.

Okay so I've been hearing a lot of positive comments about DEVIL SIDE. I hate to say but I did not dig the song very much. When I first heard the chorus from the preview, I had high expectations for it. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed upon my first hearing of the full version. I decided to listen to it a few more times before I made any judgement to it. However, I'm still not fond of it. Perhaps it will take me a year to like it as it did with LOVE ADDICT for me.

Like someone mentioned earlier, the chorus seemed very forced in but it's somewhat catchy. The lyrics are okay... it's hyde so it's understandable. I have nothing against the PV (because of the hot girls!!!). and hyde kissing that one blonde chick? Yeah, I was surprised, but I was even more surprised that he didn't kiss a hotter girl. lol. But what I'm trying to say is that... for those who have a problem with what hyde did, you have to remember, he's FUCKING hyde, he does whatever he FUCKING wants. Sorry for the cursing but it's the best emphasis to describe the rocker side of him. Remember, outside of his rocker personality, he's gentle, nice, kind man. Please separate his personal and professional life.

Anyways, I have to hear this song live because as with most VAMPS songs, they are meant to be played and heard live, not from CDs.

I can't help but say...Ju-ken's bass effing rocks in this song! *devil horns* It caught my attention immediately when I first heard the song. That and coupled with the awesome sounds coming from Arimatsu's drums, K.A.Z making his guitar sing like no other, this song is seriously going to rock our socks live. ;) So, no worries polarwhiteseal. Hopefully by the end of the concert, you'll totally love this song too. ;)
