You have a neat teacher! I work in a middle school library and the students (quietly) hear L'arc/Hyde/VAMPS every day.....lol. I was promoting the upcoming concert to one student whose older sister is also into jrock. I gave him all of the info from theblackswan to give to her. He told me she didn't know who VAMPS was. I said, well she will know who Hyde is and you do, too. He just looked at me and I told him he listened to him every day in the library. He said....oh, that is Hyde??? Someone wasn't listening to me in the past!!

that's really cool! expanding the youngsters' musical horizons is very important. especially when you can be informative as well. it's also good to let kids know J-Rock is more than just what they hear on anime and games or just Dir en grey, alice nine. or the GazettE. not to belittle them at all.
my brother, who is constantly traveling all over, surprised me a year ago when he mentioned he had heard some talk about VAMPS when he was meeting a client in NYC. this was just after LOVE ADDICT released.

back to topic, i was so happy with Life on Mars?. totally met and exceeded my expectations. as has the entire album. yes, i got it early from ITunes Japan, or most of it. didn't get the singles' songs or Bite and Hunting. but i really love it all!!!
