Apparently, someone thinks that moving my placemark around is fun. Everytime I look at that map I find it somewhere new... today I was in the US. It's annoying... I wonder who is this person. :/
Does this happen to someone else as well?

Several japanese artits were on Argentina too.

Yeah... I understand how you feel.
My place was also moved by someone else a few times.
The problem is that Google Map is kind of complicated, and even those who are familiar with internet happen to move other's placemarks accidentally.
And of course, having no edit restriction is a problem too.

As the map is growing, I have been thinking of moving the map into different web service in which you can lock your placemarks to edit.
If many of us want to use the map like that, I will search for a new map service.

So, what do you think everyone?
Do we need to move the map, or stay on Google Map for now?

And any ideas of,
1: free map service
2: easy to use for everyone
3: cannot edit others

If I were a programmer, I could build a website like that.
But I'm not, so I need your help!

Oh well, I thought some people did it on purpose but maybe it's not so. I'll keep checking and putting it back where I live... Personally, I think we should keep this map here. So many people have put a placemark already... maybe not all of them will also put it on another map.

I think it is cool to have anyone being able to edit it... but I also pull my hair in despair when anyone edits it wrong X-D I dunno, for example, why my dot got listed before Yuiko's :-( after some people added their placemarks my name was 1st on the list, it seems not right to me, not fair, since Yuiko was the first dot on the map, but I really don't know how to change that fact T_T If anyone learns how to, please let me know or fix it.
Also my dot has been misplaced several times X-D I appeared in the middle of the ocean once. Apparently it is hard to use for newbies, so I just go there often and check if I'm still home... that's nice, since I get to see more and more dots appear :-) So I vote for the map to stay in google... and we visiting it often to assure everything's alright haha.
And... who is Doramundo? this person placed a lot of placemarks in the ocean :-p

Wow, I just took a look at the map after a while and found out that my placemark had been deleted. So I added it again. I wonder who and why deleted it... it's annoying...

Hi Giglio. oh, no... sorry to hear that.
For now, I changed the rules a bit so that people can see it before they press edit button.
but it doesn't actually solve the problem...still anyone can edit someone else's placemarks.
now I think I should find a better way for everyone to use the map more comfortable...

I will keep checking you are at your place, Giglio, so could you wait until I can manage it?
