Hey, I was thinking very hard about this. If there is more then 10 or so people or maybe 20 in front of me... I was thinking of begging them to let me up front with the banner. I mean I have to hand it off to the staff so that takes TIME and I'll lose my spot. So basically the people behind me will get in before me anyway. What do you all think? =/ I hope I don't sound selfish, but I really want to enjoy this concert since NYC was so horrible.

Then, at 4:45 pm I'm taking a taxi to BCC to get my Otakon pass and then taking a taxi back >.<.... -sigh-
I thought of doing pretty much the same thing, but after going to NYC, I think it'll be ok to go right after the show's over.
I got out of the space around 10pm (I'm assuming the live itself ended at 9-something pm, 'cause I was trying to get a rose petal XD; ).
So, also assuming the Sonar show will start around the same time (even though Fillmore said it'd start at 7pm, I think it actually started around 8, because the line was so motherfreakin long, etc. >_>) and be of the same length, and considering Otakon will have pre-reg open for us until 11pm, we might not have to play cab switch-a-roo... at least, that's what I'm hoping And god forbid they turn away anyone if they get to BCC at 11:01pm... lol I'd hafta strangle some people XD >.>;
About going after the concert... I'm definitely not going to risk that. I really want the VIP special pass thing and I'm still unsure of how they're going to give it out. I'm betting on that when we get our Otakon passes, they'll give out the special pass too, so I'm going as early as I can to get my Otakon pass, but I'm going to try and make it less than an hour so it's not rude to the people waiting in line and the people passing our banner around while I'm not there XD...

lol yeah, I've literally ripped my hair agonizing over what to do, but.. I still just don't think there are that many people who are going to both Sonar AND Otakon. It's still not sold out, and..yeah XD;
And Otakon still has this on their VAMPS guest page:
AT THE CONCERT: A limited number of preferred seating passes will be handed out following the show. They'll let you get seated first at the VAMPS panel at Otakon!
For some reason, it makes more sense now than when I first read it days ago XD; I think it means that those 'preferred seating passes' will indeed be given out AT Sonar, not BCC. Otakon is only keeping pre-reg badge pickup open until 11pm for badge pickup ONLY, since they know a whole lot of us won't (or don't XD) want to ride cabs a bajillion times in one day.
err..hope that made sense ((T.T)a So yeah... whoever gets out first will be lucky, I guess? XD I'm gonna email Otakon..they reply fairly quickly (unlike Sonar... boourns to them ToT)

^ I don't see a problem with that. I am fine with it.
Hopefully others as well will not be so selfish and let you
up front without causing too much drama over it.
Do all of you think that many people will be lined up the day before?
I'm also worried about this. If a lot of people are going to camp out like
in NYC, I'd like to get there early myself. Even though I don't too much
like the idea of spending the night on a street of an unfamiliar place.
Ah, the things we do for Hyde...

RE: Safety
People who spend the night on the streets of Baltimore...
I can't really finish that sentence but... XD Just DON'T.
^_^ Thanks mi-tan <3
Hey and you guys better all come find me! Introduce yourselves <3 I'm friendly~ I'd love to meet you all.
Alriiighhtt~ So even if they do hand out the special passes after the concert, we can't get them without our Otakon pass, right? What are we going to do, run to BCC right after the concert and then try to go back in the sonar and get the special pass? I thought we needed our Otakon pass in order to get in? Or are you trying to say that everyone who leaves the concerts gets one? Even those who aren't going to Otakon? O.o

RE: Safety
So I read the thread, and now I'm officially worried. It took time to convince my friends to accept the fact that I was going to Baltimore. They kept advising against it since it is crime-infested. Initially, I was planning on going alone....now my brother is coming along but not attending the concert. (I'm also worried for him as he's driving/wandering around town by himself. I'll probably advise him to stay in the busy parts of the Inner Harbor or stay at the hotel room)
Okay, I usually don't do this since I'm a shy person. Anyone want to meet or hang out in line the day of the concert? I will be heading in the line in the morning alone, and it would be nice to wait with someone.

So how do I recognize you? I'll probably be wearing a green top. I'm a short Asian girl, about the same height as Hyde...haha. I'm hoping I'd get there by 8 am since we're driving up.
