The "Theater at Madison Square Garden," is a venue of Madison Square Garden's, located either right next to it or inside the same complex (not clear to me which, yet). It's not the same as The Madison Square Garden venue.

The Theater at Madison Square Garden has a capacity of up to 5,600. It's seated, but it seems to me I glanced upon something on their website mentioning a general admission area with no seats, so maybe they can convert it. (The Paramount Theater in Seattle has that ability.)

I'm really glad they won't be in a stadium-sized place. I want to be close ♥ and intimate venues rule, so even 5,600 is more than I'd wish for, ideally.

Edited to add I'd wish for multiple shows in intimate venues, so everyone can get a ticket.

Well, and then I'd feel bad for wearing the boys out and keeping them from home too long D;

As for me, please be my travel buddies, you guys! I had fab travel companions for VAMPS 2010, and I loved meeting other fans, including some of you! But I don't know if the folks I travelled to concerts with last year will be available, especially if they keep it on the east coast, and I want to know more than 2 or 3 weeks ahead of time, what my travel arrangements are, for a change of pace :D

I am praying that it is NOT general admission. March in NYC is not making me cheerful anyway. It is going to be very cold. PLEASE let it be reserved seating.

The March thing bothers me also. Dress for cold outside or dress for hot inside?!

I really hope I can go but so far it's not looking good. But then again, for Vamps last year I didn't make plans until a week before the show.

March weather's just like October weather. A lot of us went to see Vamps, didn't we? We turned out just fine. Weather it's hot outside or not, the city's usually freezing titties by the time 7 o'clock hits, so... We can do this you guys. WE CAN DO THIS.

And The Theater is slanted outwards from the stage, so everyone will be just fine seeing the boys. That's a little convenient, since I'm not the tallest person in the world. :c

Hmm, expedia says Atl - LaG + hotel is $725. This is for The New Yorker which is across the street from MSG and would be for going March 22 and leaving March 24.

HMMMMMM...

I hate to say, but that sounds like it might be a deal, if you share the hotel room, and the hotel's nice.

HMMMMMM...

I have been pricing hotels in the area and there is a wide variance in prices but none of them are what I consider cheap. I'm also paying for 2 nights just in case there is a blizzard and the plane can't get through the first day.

I'm late but SHIT. I'm probably not going to be able to attend this. No money to go all the way to New York, book a hotel, buy the tickets, and then come back. But I'm also on the bandwagon that the concert takes place very close to my birthday, so maybe a miracle will happen!

GREAT INFO!!! That sounds amazing!!! I cannot WAIT for this!!! The best part about this is that I was all stressed because I'm in the Army and I have to go to a month-long school in Texas sometime next year and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make the concert because of this, but, as it turns out, none of the available dates conflict with the concert. GOD LOVES ME :3

I don't know if I can make it... but I will try, at least I'm starting with basic, which means passport... is it really cold in NY?
