What picture did you use for Hyde? I'm assuming you used photo's as a basis for facial features?

I think the problem is hyde.. honestly it doesn't look much like him. The other guys are cool though its just that hyde doesn't look like any hyde i've ever saw...

No one is trying to be mean here its just an honest opinion. It just doesn't seem like as much effort was put into hyde's painting as the others

The idea is good, but the result is irregular, especially Hyde (difficult to recognize him). At the moment only K.A.Z really seems K.A.Z, maybe you used another technique to draw him? because it looks much more realist than the rest.

I think it would be much better if all the characters keep a similar style / result.

I spent two weeks painting HYDE alone. The others were not as difficult to paint as HYDE was/is. The photo that I was working from, unfortunately, was a lot more difficult to work from than I expected. The photos of K.A.Z, Ju-ken, and Arimatsu have a lot of shadows that I can work from. HYDE photo does not. But again, this banner is still very much a work-in-progress. Thanks for your comment. ;)

cool! well like I said i wasn't trying to be mean or anything and the other 3 guys look a lot like themselves especially kaz its just hyde seemed a bit.. odd? and sort of out of place but im sure the finished banner will be better.

I know! I've been so frustrated 'cause it hadn't been working out. I know I've painted HYDE better than that before, so it's just odd. I think HYDE looks like HYDE, but there is something off. Hopefully, I'll be able to fix it soon. Oil paints take forever and a half to dry, so we'll see how it goes.

I guess it's all by opinions~ Not everyone is gonna like it. And you just gotta do what you gotta do, take the helpful criticism and work harder at it! (So maybe a little work on hyde XD, You have to understand we're Hyde fangirls lol not that i'm asking for perfect but coming from us its a bit tough) I admire you for doing it by hand... so here's my question how big are this pictures and how are they in the banner?

Oh dear!!! Come on, don't be sad please!!!! *hug*
People doesn't always like everything, you'll always get bad feedback at some point. It is just that some people are a little less... harsh about it :-(
I do see HYDE doesn't look exactly like a picture of HYDE... but it is an artistic interpretation, personally I recognized him on the spot ;-D
If people doesn't want to sign the banner, well, we can manage without them, I really do think VAMPS will appreciate your work, they are nice people.
I will be VERY honored signing that handmade banner. REALLY
