I was about to start a thread about this but I'll mention it here then. I've been wondering why is it that the Official VAMPS Myspace profile is not posting bulletins like crazy about the concert? Why aren't they promoting like the people here are? If the person in charge of the profile is the person you are talking about then why doesn't this person get an assistant? I'm just curious as to why they are not promoting this more.

I go to a lot of concerts here in NYC with bands that come from Europe and whenever they don't promote, they get a half full venue which is sad and bad for them. Last time I saw that was at the Sabath concert and I felt bad for them and angry with the so called fans for not showing up, but the band apparently had not promoted much. And this was a reunion of a band that's been around for ages.

I think VAMPS is lucky to have such loving fans, very lucky because otherwise they wouldn't sell any tickets at all with the kind of promotion they've been doing.

*sigh* To be quite honest, I have been wondering the very same thing myself. However, we have no time to change the way they've been promoting stuff, so we can only work harder to pick up the slack, right? I mean, I'm sure the VAMPROSE staff have got a lot going on right now and I'm not going to profess I know everything there is about promoting a band and all that that entails. I don't know what the issues are on VAMPROSE's end, either, so I can't really say, "You guys suck at promoting!" *lol* I'm not saying that's what you're saying, either.

However, I've just resolved to doing everything I possibly can to help VAMPS out. Unfortunately, I can't do this alone, either. Calling radio stations, although tedious, is crucial. I hope you guys will consider helping me out, I mean, like I said before, I really can't do this alone. The more of us that call, the better the chances VAMPS have of being played on the air.

You've been doing an awesome job as far as I'm concerned and so have all the others here. I will keep helping with whatever I can.

Well i've been doing everything i possibly can to help them too so trust me your not alone ^^ but I just found out today my cat has cancer and right now all my time and energy is devoted to him *sorry vamps* so I might not be around as much for now. I have been calling radio stations and sending requests online everyday but I agree we do need EVERYONE to do it everyday until they agree to play them.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I am a huge cat fan although I can't have one in my current apartment. I hope your kitty gets better.

^ not really hes too old for surgery and the vet thinks its already spread im just trying to keep him as comfortable as i can >_< but yeah I wont be able to do much promoting for a little while.

I have also wondered that myself I mean they do have promoters here but they can't start promoting a month before the concerts and expect tickets to sell out I mean you saw how long it took for some people to get their fliers. People need time to save up money if they are going to go to a concert especially right now when everyone is nearly broke. If i hadn't already had some money saved up there no way I would have been able to attend the shows at least without selling an organ or something. 2-3 months notice isn't much time to get money together to travel especially for people with families to take care of. A tour this big should have been announced sooner it would have given them more time for promotion and fans more time to save up money to attend the shows.

Hey guys today has been CRAZY HECTIC I can't get much into details right now... I emailed Ai about the myspace ads just going over them a bit ^^ Also the radio stations yes I always get through to KIIS FM but honestly these guys are always like wamp, vamps who... so I know ppl haven't been calling otherwise they'd b like vamps no! We don't have them and leave me alone.... but it sounds like these guys don't hear the name often enough tracy and I have sent them cds they've even told me they're willing to take tickets!!! (Which again i'd gladly give... but u know) they have to become popular first before they do so we HAVE to call! I call everyday atleast once! And I'm in texas to come on guys! Well all I can do from so far away is filling out radio station petition forms like with one of the stations someone posted. T_T but I did make flyers and sent Ai the files just in case she wants to use them. And yeah we promote way better than anyone else and I've said this before =P. We should get backstage passes U_U! xD
