Yeah, when you actually see HYDE appearing so tired, you really tend to think of how over-demanding the fans can be. Celebrity or not, he is still a human being. As much as I look forward to a new work from anything with HYDE in it, I always feel concerned about the timing of the new material. Most musicians only release a new album every two years, so the fact that they're releasing ANOTHER full-length album after only a year's time leaves me with lower expectations for the quality and furthermore makes me worry that he's pushing himself a bit harder than he can handle. Of course, since I'm obviously not involved in HYDE's life in any way, the only thing I can really do is hope he gets plenty of rest and has as much fun making the music as much we have fun listening to it. (Though from some interviews with HYDE, I think that's probably the most frustrating part to him, lol)
Okay, sorry for that. I just tend to think that the fans can be a bit too hard on him and demand too much for him. It's not unexpected at all, but when you think about all the things he does for his fans, not just including making music for them, and how the fans talk about him and complain about this and that whenever he releases something or does something that is less than what they want without providing any kind of constructive contribution. (Granted, I have done this before myself, so I'm not claiming to be any better than them) HYDE, unlike many musicians, is one that truly cares about his fans and has been known to go out of his way to ensure that they're happy, so I think the least we could do is show some appreciation for his effort.
(This rant can also apply to K.A.Z, tetsuya, yuki, and ken, but HYDE being the most well-known of all of them, I think he might have the most pressure on his hands, but I'm not sure. I stupidly haven't been keeping up with the fan reactions to tetsuya's solo work, nor ACID ANDROID, nor ken's solo work, nor OBLIVION DUST, so I don't know how the fanbase is for them.)
Okay, rant over. I'm starting to feel like Chris Crocker defending Britney Spears now. Sorry DX

Yeah, that's probably actually true considering K.A.Z was looking actually more alive and attentive than HYDE was. I don't know why I thought he wasn't paying attention. Probably just because he's been known to do his own thing while HYDE talks, remembering all those messages from 2008 in which HYDE would talk and K.A.Z would just be doing his own thing in the background, not even introducing himself to the audience. Interestingly, I think I paid attention to K.A.Z more attentively then than I do now. Since I couldn't understand what HYDE was saying, I would look more into the background and wonder what K.A.Z was doing and wonder if this would be the interview in which we'd finally get to hear his voice. Now that he actually talks on a regular basis (albeit, still very shyly), I tend to pay as much attention to him as I do HYDE in interviews and messages (that aren't subbed so I can understand)... that is, just stare and wait for something exciting to happen... like HYDE and K.A.Z laughing so hard they start to cry. Oh, great times.

I seriously don't know why he can't do that. Like you said, it would definitely be a bit more natural and probably a bit more friendly. That's one thing I've always preferred about VAMPS to L'Arc, it's a bit more personal and a little (hence, a little, not entirely) less stylized. Granted, stylizing a band isn't so much bad, especially when it's a group of at least four members who are each trying to keep a certain type of image, but sometimes it feels a bit unnatural and over-glamorizes what is a relatively simple message. Which is again one reason I prefer VAMPS. It feels more like a "We're just hear to make music and have fun" sort of feel not a "We're going to release a hit album and make loads of cash" sort of feel.
Actually in 2008 Kazu was suffering from his broken foot and was probably medicated and that is why he was off doing his own thing because they probably didn't want him talking LOL. He was goofy LOL. Drawing on Hyde in a magazine, playing with a little bat in the background etc LOL.
