I find it a bit disrespectful to HYDE since its really obvious he doesn't like any of his personal information to be known. Even in HYDEIST this is a big no no and whenever someone says Happy Birthday to him it's almost immediately deleted.
I just feel as fans we should respect his privacy more but yeah that's just my opinion.
Are we allowed to say "Good Morning, Hyde"?
Nevermind.....I don't do the thing like that.

I think the reason it is deleted from HYDEIST is because of how spammish it is to have threads of something that will be duplicated a million times over. On more active boards, the problem of people posting the same thread and message a thousand times over is a real problem, so to prevent that, they taboo certain subjects that will result in numerous duplicate threads and messages.
I will give you that HYDE doesn't and never has liked to talk about his age. Funny thing, I've never known HYDE to enjoy talking about himself much in general. When the conversation becomes about the music or the tour, you can see him getting pumped into the convo, but when it becomes about his personal life, he always seems a bit bored and annoyed.

Reference win!
Hahahaha thanks!
As for Hyde talking about himself, watch this stalkerish reporter make him visibly uncomfortable:
This is a great interview and it really makes it clear why Hyde comes to America even though he's not a million selling act here.

i think it is perfectly reasonable for hyde to be uncomfortable with that reporters' questions. the way she kept coming back to his looks would make anyone feel weird.
i didn't really take the time to rewatch the 2 bits as i have seen them many times. but it's great of you, Bill, to post links for those who might not have watched. i was always impressed and amused by tetsu's confessions about checking music stores back in early days. dedication, L'Arc has always had it. ^ ^
