So, right now it's only an MP3 download. But... HYDE... on an AMERICAN Wal-Mart site. If I could buy HYDE or VAMPS CD's at Wal-Mart, then one of my lifelong dreams has come true and for some reason, seeing him on the Wal-Mart MP3 store almost makes it feel like it's just a little bit closer to becoming a reality.

Granted, our HYDE has become mixed-up with a different HYDE, which is probably the only reason he's become available, but still. :X

(And if you'll take the time to search up other popular Japanese artists like Gackt, L'Arc~en~Ciel, etc. they don't have them, so it's not like one of those things where they'll sell MP3's of one or more popular Japanese artists for just the quick buck from Anime fans. I mean, normally if Gackt isn't in the MP3 store, then there's no hope for any Japanese artist)

HYDE, our Hyde, often gets mixed in with other HYDE bands, even on Japanese music retailers. if you just plug in HYDE on YesAsia, as an example, you will get Jekyl and Hyde, all books by anyone with Hyde in their name, the actor from Frasier etc and so on.

but it is good to see that for whatever reason, his music is appearing in such a bastion of middle america. it would be nice to be able to go to any local music retailer and buy Hyde/VAMPS and L'Arc music. i've heard that Hot Topics and Best Buy have both carried Dir en grey stuff for some time, but they appeal to a niche market that those stores cater to, musically at least. maybe not at all of their stores, but apparently quite a few.
