RE: The topic that will cause contraversy and death for years to come
(10-14-2009, 11:58 PM)Usagi Hoshino Wrote: I think L'arc has a lot of personal lyrics. Specially since we have no idea what goes on in their minds when they write the song.
Is not like they intend for us to understand what a personal topic certain song is. "Ibara no Namida" for example for me sounds like a personal song. Since L'arc is not all Tetsu or all Hyde well they take turns to do songs for each of them and it turns out wonderful. But in a Sense is more formal maybe because of the Kioon - sony thing and what someone already said about Vamprose being an indie label.
Overall I think every song L'arc or Hyde or Vamps write has personal experience and their own lives as inspiration. But with Vamps the lyrics are not that "deep" in meaning. (I like them but I think most lack substance like L'arc lyrics have). It's hard to explain.. I just feel it that way . They are more Easy going fun lyrics (I mean Vamps not Hyde pre-vamps).
I think not all the VAMPS songs are for having fun, the same way we can't forget Laruku released more than 10 Albums; the quantity of songs, contents etc is really diverse, so compare both groups it's not so easy.
With VAMPS, Hyde used his own personal experiences too; as he said in an interview published in May (L25 Magazine), EVANESCENT was inspired by someone he liked last Summer and now is gone.
