RE: Anyone planning anything? Fan stuff
Only one more day, guys. It's about 6 AM over here. I've been up all night, unable to sleep, because I'm so uber excited. Don't worry about my sleep deprivation, though. I figure that it's good to get be nice and tired today so that I can be ready to easily hit the hay early tonight so that I may wake up early tomorrow.
Anyway, so I figured that I'd direct this message to anyone who is not leaving for Baltimore early today, how about we all make a nice, organized summary of all of the plans we made in this thread and clarify any leftover confusion. I'm hoping to keep this summary in just one post so I can refer to it whenever necessary. So I'd appreciate it if everyone just keep an open mind about what I'm trying to do here. Thanks a bunch!
From what I can gather, most of us will be waiting in line for the concert, but two members will be going around the line getting people to sign the fan book and banner. During the intermission before the encore, we'll sing MISSION, primarily the line starting with "Music's breaking down all the barriers" until the end. And after that, we pretty much just enjoy the rest of the show and its aftermath. If I missed anything or some of the information is not entirely accurate, let me know and I'll edit the post accordingly.
Now some concerns I have-
I believe the users who were passing around the fanbook and the banner said that signing said objects will only take place before the autograph session. I will be leaving tomorrow morning at 9, and if I'm lucky I should arrive in Baltimore at approximately 4 PM, an hour following the close of the autograph session. Therefore, if my information is correct, I will not be able to sign the book/banner. Is there any way I can meet either of you and sign it as soon as I arrive at the venue? If not, could I ask that it be signed for me? I don't want to miss my spot in the book or banner.
Not really a concern of mine because I'm not using will call, but many people here are upset that they may not be able to have their merchandise signed because they are using will call. That is not the case if I read correctly. If I remember right, people using will call may have their merchandise signed if they present proof of actually purchasing the tickets. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.
*update* Here's another concern. According to the VAMPS official MySpace, the concert will last from 8 PM until 9 PM. That doesn't seem very long. Maybe that's just me. So assuming every song is approximately 4-5 minutes, I suppose that leaves enough room for plenty of songs, but I'm not quite sure. Plus. one hour doesn't leave us much time for an encore. I certainly don't want it to be like the Warped tour in which only five songs were played.
If there's anything I need to add or correct, please post it here! =D
On a personal note, I'll be arriving at Baltimore with my father. I hope to meet some street team members/non-street team members but also fellow VAMPS fans. Alas, I don't have anything to identify myself with aside from the fact that I'll be wearing all black. I know that sounds stupid when the forecast is set for 94 degrees, but you know... that's who I am. Anyway, I probably won't get to meet many of you if any at all primarily due to my shyness, but in any case, how might I recognize some of you who may actually care to meet me and put up with my annoying/cocky/often negative attitude and poor sense of humor?
