Hm, weird, moderator log says I approved your post, Guest, but now its gone. Sorry, I don't know what happened there, and I didn't copy it so I can't repost. I tried going through my cache to find the text again but I don't see it. But the moderator log shows that I approved selected posts at 10:33pm my time, so about half an hour ago.

But I don't think we're acting like the world is ending, really. I just personally am not a fan of any of the artists so I am less than thrilled about the album. It also feels more like marketing move rather than authentic tribute, but that is just my feelings on it. Since I love the band I want to love everything they do, but in reality that just possible.

And I don't believe in the all that 'Secret' book stuff, it just seems like selective memory to me. You remember events that seem significant and forget events that don't, which makes it seem like every time I do X, Y happens. In reality I do not believe any of that because it isn't true to me. If I think I might be late, I can still end up on time. And if I think I'll make it in time I can still end up late.

I don't think my feelings change the way the world works. Now, I do think constant negative feelings can make you sick, but that is about it. Of course, disliking one thing a band is doing doesn't seem like it would be enough negativity to have any impact on my life though.

Some times I am looking forward to something and it turns out terrible. Some times I am not looking forward to something and it turns out enjoyable. So I'd still consider listening to parts of the tribute album but as of now I'm not buying it.

Also, everyone I know hates Nickelback so I certainly hope L'Arc isn't in the same category as them! I'd place them into a higher, more respected class of music. I don't consider them a band that people are ashamed for liking.

Mind you, I'm neutral about nickelback but to me they seem like the kind of band that people feel guilty about liking, due to so much hate around them. L'arc just doesn't seem like that kind of band to me.
