I'm so glad that my hometown (Yokohama) wasn't too heavily damaged but all those images of Fukushima and Sendai break my heart. I'm trying not to think about it too much because I start to cry when I do. I love Japan SO much. I have felt useless sitting here in Missouri because I'm a nurse and I speak enough passing Japanese to be able to help and I can't :(
Prayers for the entire wonderful and strong nation of Japan!!!

I watched the DVD from the Twenity set last night and cried through most of it.
Japan is a strong nation and it will heal. I keep praying for no more disasters to happen there now.
I know how you both feel. My best friend's grandmother is Japanese (although she still lives in the US) and she probably still has relatives from Japan. It would break her heart if anything happened to them and I can't stand to see her hurt, you know? I was talking to her not too long ago, and she said she was visiting her grandmother when she saw it on the news and she was very saddened by it.
I was watching the BEAUTY AND THE BEAST performance for the umpteenth time last night and felt like I just wanted to hold each and every member of VAMPS and never let them go. Time and time again, they've given a reason to take on the challenges of each and every day when I could hardly think of a reason to even wake up in the morning.
I was watching an interview with Ozzy Osbourne from last year that I apparently missed and he was discussing the feelings he felt when he discovered that John Lennon was assassinated. He said he thought something along the lines of "What did this man do other than make a bunch of peoples' lives more worth living?"
HYDE made not be as world-renowned or as respected as him, but HYDE will always be my personal John Lennon. His music and lyrics make my life all the more worth living, and I don't know where I'd be had I never discovered him. So if something were to happen to him, I have no idea what I would do.
Oh wow. Sorry about that. Didn't mean to get all over-emotive and shit, but these events have really left me in such a bazaar mindset. I can hardly think straight, what with every news channel in the world covering every second of the story.
